A most pleasing result.
How Waghorn missed that chance to make it 2-2 right at the death, though, only he will know!
One more win should see us safe now.

Just walking back to White City and hands very, very cold but my god, pump that into my fkin veins.
Magic goals, Rooney cocking up for our second, Eze, Chair and BOS' interplay. Stressful but amazing.
Keith Stroud remains the worst official in the country.
UuuuuRrrrrsssss.

Up to 12th as things stand. Sheff Wed need at least a draw and Brum a win tomorrow night to go above us so 14th at worse. If we can beat Brum on Saturday, things will look rather rosy.

Why don't they give Keith Stroud the sack? Looks like Kelly had a good game.

Oh, and I felt a little sorry for Rooney. It's not surprising he made the mistake that led to Chair's winner, it must be difficult to play football with a commentator up your butt!

That would be an Eze Chair goal, for all of us easy chair fans that can't get to the games. My excuse is that I am 7573 km away...

TBH not a lot of quality on show tonight but we deserved the three points as we carried more threat for nearly all of the game. Kelly was good as was Barbet and Manning got forward well to good effect in the second half. Didn't happen again up front for Hugill and it was BOS and Eze who looked dangerous all through - great goal from Chair with a typical mazy run assist from Eze.
From not looking under any serious pressure all game we really fell apart a little in last ten minutes giving them three or four decent chances to equalise, none of which were taken thankfully!

I fully agree with you. The 5 minutes of added time seemed excessive and seemed to cause undue stress. Glad we won though. Think the conditions were not easy and could well be even blowier on Saturday according to the forecast. I did wonder if Rooney would assume the role of ref when Stroud went down injured. But perhaps Rooney does not care as much nowadays as he barely moaned to the ref tonight. Just happy to bank his £90k a week I guess.

The second half was a lot better to watch than the first & we controlled it until we scored!
We've played better, but everyone comtributed & gave their all. AND what a winning goal! That was a proper move & finish!
Eleven games to go. Eleven wins to be had & then the play offs will beckon!

Let’s win on Saturday and see where we are in the league - then talk about possible promotion

Let’s win on Saturday and see where we are in the league - then talk about possible promotion The play offs part was in jest! Just a little reminder to those who entertained relegation as a possibility! Neither of those were going to happen, although I did think earlier in the season that we would be promoted!

There were some outstanding performances last night with Barbet & Ball to the fore, but the second half showing from Eze had everything!
Possibly his best all round game for us. I'm still picturing his flick pass to Manning as well as the winning goal.

Great result Derby manager Phillip Cocu came up with Mourinho-like post match spin on the game... "We dominate more, create much more... In these games you play well and create a lot of opportunities to only score one, and the opponent score two from maybe three chances..."Stats suggest otherwise: PossessionQPR 43% Derby 57% (OK, Derby shaded it, but hardly 'domination'. ShotsQPR 15 Derby 15 (so we had only 'three' chances??) Shots on targetQPR 6 Derby 4 Shots in the back of the netQPR 2 Derby 1 (nuff said) Good to see a few more posting on here Not surprising not to hear from one poster in particular - well, we didn't lose, so he's probably too upset

Nothing about that surprises me, they only see what they want to see. That's one of the things I like about Warburton, he doesn't make excuses when we lose or come out with that sort of BS!

I was worried about Rooney getting hot and scoring a couple. Seems he gave us a goal.
Marshbowles if you read this, explain your prediction for game.
