I would like to think that we will give it a go tomorrow, rather than just phone it in. But what does Warburton do by way of selection? I think that he needs to mix it up, but how? Perhaps we could revert to 3 at the back with Hall, Masterson and Barbet all able to bring the ball out of a 3 man defence. We could then play to the strengths of our wing backs and recall Manning. So perhaps a 3-4-3 formation and get someone closer to Hugill (Bright, Eze,Clarke or Chair could all do it). Or perhaps give Hugill a rest and play in the formation that we used with Wells starting (play Clarke or Bright in the Wells role). However, I fear that Warburton will turn to his experienced trustees (Pugh, Wallace and Cameron ) and we will be taken apart with our lack of pace. I think Swansea will be up to avenge their cup no-show for their fans / manager and it could be a long night with the inevitable reaction should we lose. If we concede first, I don't see us pulling back. The longer we hold out the better though. But we live in hope........

I wonder what kit we will be wearing tonight....... We were apparently fined for failing to play in the pink 3rd kit against Fulham as ordered by the match referee. So, it would be logical to think we cannot play in the spearmint kit tonight again - but there again, when did we ever see EFL consistency? We currently seem to favour wearing the hybrid spearmint and royal blue shorts rather than play in pink. I think it looks pretty odd. But perhaps it depends on what tops we have with the new sponsor - albeit anyway just a sticker over the old sponsor. I find it baffling that our club (and others) struggle to create a second choice kit that meets pretty obvious criteria. We can easily play in red, yellow, pink or green but insist in creating duck egg, spearmint or grey away kits that inevitably clash. How hard can it be? At this point, the usual calls for 'Dennis the Menace' cry out. It does seem now though that teams play their second strip even when they do not need to change anyway.

Not really worried about the kit just the performance. MW said he wasn’t happy with the way we played Saturday and said would have the players up for this game so I’m expecting a reaction after the Huddersfield game which we treated more like a friendly. Hopefully we can get a couple of goals too. Just get something from the game, point would be very nice.

I would take a point right now, anything to stop the rot.

Hugill missed and misses, over the bar when it was easier to hit the target!

A good first half and nothing to show for it, will that come back to haunt us ? We need something, currently Wigan winning again.

Wigan & Charlton winning isnt good for us. I still think Charlton will end up drawing or losing but we need a Boro goal badly.

If I had to make a choice on keeping or letting Geoff Cameron stay or go for next season I would drive him to the dole office and not look back. He makes far too many mistakes for my liking.

Point and a clean sheet away from home. Can’t complain about that.
Dull game, but good to get a point and not concede.

Played reasonably well enough without scoring. Good to get a point same as Wigan but can’t get away from the fact three games since Wells went and not one goal scored. We still need a win sharpish, hopefully Saturday.

Losses for Huddersfield and Stoke and a win for Luton. We really need to get a result against Stoke Saturday, 3 points needed, hope the players up for it.
Wells scores first goal for Bristol C
