I was going to say something about Nahki not acknowledging the club the fans etc having seen his comments on Instagram when he gave nothing but praise for the club and its fans so where the fact that he did not came from is quite frankly not the truth at all

Agree with that -the only sour note is I saw (admittedly edited) comments from Wells for R's fans that were not exactly glowing. No sign of thanks to the club for giving him the chance and getting him going , no thanks for the support of he fans - just about his glorifying in his own pleasure at scoring the goals this season he should have scored last season. Anyway Burnley have got their money back, he has got a 3 and a half year contract obviously on better terms than with us and probably a signing on fee. Good luck to him. Hope he does not play against us - or if he does put Cameron on him for a while and slow him down a bit. Not true at all RE Wells' comments, it's the opposite. He put out a statement on Instagram explicitly thanking the fans, the owners and the club - particularly Mark Warburton, who he said was huge part of getting the best out of him. Said the club would always have a place in his heart.

Why can Robins afford Wells and we cant? Bigger revenue, higher capacity stadium, just sold a player to a Premier league club for £9m.

From the Offie. Peaked perfectly for himself but not for QPR! If he'd scored no goals in Jan but 5 in Feb he'd be permanently ours (or so I'd like to believe)! www.qpr.co.uk/news/club-news/wells-wins-january-award-for-qpr-form/Wells wins January award for QPR formGeorge Jones @qpr FORMER R Nahki Wells has won the Sky Bet Championship Player of the Month award for his QPR form during the month of January. In three matches, Rangers’ ex-number 21 bagged an impressive five goals, which included a hat-trick against Cardiff City on New Year’s Day. He also scored against Leeds United and Brentford and claimed one assist. Loanee Wells was, of course, recalled by his then parent club Burnley on Monday 27th January before making a permanent transfer to Bristol City on Thursday 30th January. Wells beat off competition from Fulham’s Michal Hector, Preston North End’s Josh Harrop and Nottingham Forest’s Joe Lolley to win the award
