Hmmmm, wonder what that will mean for us considering their reported interest in Eze...

Poor decision to reduce the penalty IMHO. Years of abusing the system, penalty halved to just one window. Not much of a deterrent!

They might recall some of the 70 players they have out on loan.

They might recall some of the 70 players they have out on loan. Oh god, so they've got a few players who have been doing the business on loan at a good level for years now, brought them back into the fold purely cos of the transfer ban, and Sky Sports treat them like it's a brave new world of "bringing the kids through". Despite the fact they hoover up dozens and dozens of players, hoard them away and are only now giving some a chance precisely because they broke the rules. And they get praised for it.

Juventus kicked out of Europe and fined a peanuts amount that will be waived 50% if they stay within the rules for 3 seasons. - ban is fair enough but one season not long enough. The fine too small and the waiver - why has our remaining fine not been waived - we have been good boys for more than 3 seasons now.
Chelsea get a peanuts (for them) fine for frequent repeated breaches of FFP over seven or eight seasons that they deliberately covered up - makes our transgressions seem minor
So what are the FA and PL going to do about Chelsea who have been pleaded guilty and can carry on regardless? - absolutely F. all
That's FFP for you.

There must be someone out there smart enough to start a government petition on this, none of this seems fair or equal. If mad owners want to spend their millions then let them, but have some sort of caveat that they can only leave with the same level of debt that they came in with, or any personal funds spent cant be linked to the club.
The big clubs are getting so far out of sight that there really isn't any chance outside the big half a dozen that can challenge for any cup, there seems no point playing in the prem if you know its just a matter of time before you get relegated or spending season after season playing for middle table.
