Wells & Hemed start up front, looks like Furlong & Cameron in the centre of Defence with Wszolek & Manning as full backs. None of the back 4 in their usual positions. Brace yerselves!

No matter who the manager would be for today's game, coping with that level of injuries would be a massive task. It always seems to go that a team loses all their goalkeepers, defenders, midfielders or attackers at the same time. But this time it is defenders for us. Leistner was almost ready on Friday but not in the squad today. Hall said to be close, but not available still. Lynch - off on his holidays. Rangel still out. This really is a stretch. So saying it before we kick off - what ever the outcome - this is bloody tough! Will now watch it on the red button from behind the chair......

Started relatively well - lots of pressing and harrying high up the pitch.

A penalty in injury time - another injury time goal conceded but at least with Rotherham losing we are safe for another season

They played well today. Bow - what did you think of our time wasting today? Of course today it was added on as we played 11 extra, typical. Lumley played well but then screwed up for the second goal. Conceded another soppy penalty though. But at least Rotherham lost.......

Difference is it got added on today with interest. Thems the risks I suppose.

Beach towels and flip flops time.
Championship football again next season, that’s the main thing.
Hopefully play some of the youngsters in the next few games, seems they will be here next season when many others won’t.

Yup, and some of our lot have had their flip flops on for a few weeks now, really. Fortunately today was better by quite a margin compared to Friday. Think we were a bit too negative second half against a clearly nervous Derby side but I get the conservatism. And agree, next to zero point now in playing people who are not going to be here next year, injuries permitting.

Apparently, Lynch has a hamstring injury, so I guess he will need the next 2 weeks off. He picked it up in the Blackburn game but valiantly played on for the 90 minutes! I wonder if the out of contract players will now be told if their one year options are to be exercised, or will they have to await the new manager and his view?

It is the hope that kills you......... Even though I knew Rotherham were losing, I still wanted us to hold on for a draw. Somehow, just seeing the 9 minutes board seemed to sap the hope away in me. Silly of me, I should realise that it is written in the scriptures that QPR must lose to Derby County for ever more to make good the over celebrations of May 24th 2014...still, it was worth it!

Strange game, Derby very nervy and as sloppy as Swansea at times. Could really have punished them but looks like we were after the one point we needed. Classic post-match comment "The club asked me to come in and help keep the team up and we've achieved that" I think Rotheram did that for us.

Fantastic to stay up, very pleased about this . Yet, won’t be kidding myself here, we have been pretty crap since Boxing, so I won’t be getting carried away. Whatever way you look it at it’s two league wins in 2019.

Ay up lads, bit late to the party on this. A bit gutted Steve McClaren got the boot, but the writing was on the wall I guess. He'd have had a good reception at PPS.
You lot a touch unlucky, first thought was 'no pen', but I think over the piece Derby just about deserved it in my biased opinion. Both teams had chances but you lot haven't scored in Derby for about 5 years have you? Looked a bit sloppy in the last third, to compensate for us looking sloppy in midfield, especially early on. In the end you're staying up and we get to dream about the play-offs a bit longer.
Keep the faith lads. See you next year. Probably. Even if we sneak in, Villa and Leeds have both destroyed us twice already this season.

It’s been a disaster ours season for us and Steve has to go as he seemed unable to come up with any new ideas to stop the slide. Staying up is a relief as if we’d started that bad run a game or 2 earlier we’d be relegated. Good luck in the playoffs but it is gonna be a big ask for Lamps to pull that off.
