Thanks for this Mac.
We are rather consistent. I suspect that the club is viewed as standard Championship material by fans around the country.
Since 2004, has any team been in this division more than us?

So to date this is our best season since promotion in 2013/2014 and with no reason why we cannot beat the previous full season best in that period of 60 points. 17 more points from 13 games is not unrealistic especially as our away form is much improved on previous years. Obviously we will have to sack the manager and stop any of this getting better nonsense if we do get more points. The good news is that we now have a young core of a promising team that can develop more in the next couple of seasons if we can retain people like Chair and Dickie, see a couple more develop through and sort out our goal scoring inconsistency. We have Kelman and now some promising PL "reject" strikers on trial so we are heading in the right direction on limited resources. At the end of the day and given where we have come from in the past few years, being a decent Championship club for a few seasons hopefully building a promotion capable squad is better than a quick jump up to become PL canon fodder.

Nice research Mac.
Seems we are a steady 2nd tier club. As long as we can afford we should stay in 2nd tier.We don't have the type of players that pushed us into the Prem where we failed miserably and still
have us in ffp trouble. Feels nice and comfortable.

Let’s hope it’s like 2018/19 , 19th , get the feeling it could be a bit worse than that though. Certainly gone backwards as a club and lots of these players have just given up on us.
