it was a performance that would make anyone join you boys in Australia. Truely awful

I don't think it was that awful a performance, though the bitter cold may have numbed my head. Amazed we didn't sort some extra cover/width on our right, perhaps Firlong could have come on in the second half?. Villa's front 3 kept forcing Baptiste out to the right from CB as they pressed really high up the pitch and for all his strengths, he couldn't deal with that.
Horrible day capped by having to listen to low life Villa fans singing "Viva John Terry" down the Uxbridge Road. scum.

Why do you think that? We've got midtable inconsistency written all over us. We beat the top two sides and lost the next two. Decent home record, shocking away record. It's not very good but we aren't in the same form bracket as Sunderland etc. either.

This season for me is about getting 50 points and moving on. Pretty much like the last two seasons then.

I've seen a lot worse at Loftus Road in recent seasons!
Turning point for me was when Ollie was forced to take off Luongo at half time. Manning ran around a lot but had big boots to fill in Luongo and Scowen had possibly his worse game for us giving the ball away cheaply but hey, everyone entitled to have an off day!
Smith had a couple of chances to get us back level but Mackie was totally ineffective and can see him having only substitution appearances from now on unless we have some injuries upfront.
We seemed to be obsessed with booting it up to the big guy in crowded areas upfront rather than getting our heads up and looking for the space out wide.
One thing that is starting to drive me mad is giving the ball to Lynch to hoof it up the pitch! His distribution is pitiful. Rarely gets his pass to the intended player and sometimes not within 10 yards of him!

Nowhere near. Midtable mediocrity? Yes. Relegation fodder? No. Now, if you were talking about Sunderland...........
