Now I will start with, when we signed Perch, I slated him for months but he grew on me, like a little tiddler to a nice Pike. So I would keep Perch as a squad player and yes was too harsh on him when we signed him.
Re Onuoha, again would keep him, if he is replaced as Captain and still wishes to stay.

From the Brent & Kilburn Times. El Khayati on the move? www.kilburntimes.co.uk/sport/football/qpr_transfer_news_nasser_el_khayati_could_be_next_to_depart_through_loftus_road_exit_door_1_4843508QPR transfer news: Nasser El Khayati could be next to depart through Loftus Road exit door15:30 10 January 2017 By Sean Gallagher, QPR correspondent QPR will listen to offers for Nasser El Khayati during this month’s transfer window. Share article from Brent & Kilburn Times on facebook Tweet article from Brent & Kilburn Times Share article from Brent & Kilburn Times on Google Pluspost article from Brent & Kilburn Times on reddit email article from Brent & Kilburn Times The Dutch playmaker, 27, has made just nine appearances in all competitions this season, starting just game in the Championship. As a result El Khayati has become increasingly frustrated over his lack of opportunities in W12, and is likely to head out of the Loftus Road exit door with two of his close allies, Sebastian Polter and Tjaronn Chery, already securing moves to Germany and China respectively, pending official confirmation from the Championship side. Manager Ian Holloway has wasted no time on stamping his authority on his squad, already sanctioning moves for the aforementioned duo, while Ben Gladwin has moved to former club Swindon Town on loan until the end of the season. Midfield general Karl Henry has been made available for transfer and made to train with the club’s development squad after a training ground bust-up with Holloway. The Times understands the former Millwall boss is also prepared to let El Khayati leave on either a temporary or permanent basis, as the Rs prepare for another manic transfer window. At this stage the former looks the more likely, with several League One clubs sounding out the former Burton Albion man. In terms of incoming, on the Rs’ radar are Bournemouth striker Lewis Grabban and Bristol Rovers front man Matty Taylor, while they are set to complete the signing of Kazenga LuaLua on loan from promotion chasing Brighton for the rest of the season. They also remain interested in signing Luke Freeman from Bristol City, despite having an initial bid turned down.

From sky sports. It's getting closer to happening! www.skysports.com/football/news/11711/10724253/brightons-kazenga-lualua-undergoing-medical-at-qprBrighton's Kazenga LuaLua undergoing medical at QPRBy Sky Sports News HQ Last Updated: 10/01/17 4:10pm Brighton winger Kazenga LuaLua is undergoing a medical ahead of a move to Queens Park Rangers, according to Sky sources. Sky sources understand the 26-year-old is also close to agreeing personal terms ahead of a switch to Loftus Road. LuaLua, who started his career at Newcastle United, spent three spells on loan at Brighton before making the move permanent in 2011. He has featured only six times for the Sky Bet Championship leaders this season and received a four-match ban from the Football Association after being sent off for the club's U23s against AFC Wimbledon in the Football League Trophy in December. LuaLua has made 146 appearances in total for Brighton, scoring 18 times. QPR boss Ian Holloway is yet to bolster his squad this month, but has allowed forward Sebastian Polter and midfielder Ben Gladwin to complete moves away from the club. Polter has joined FC Union Berlin in a deal for £3m, while Gladwin has re-joined former club Swindon on loan until the end of the season. Sandro is expected to complete a switch to Turkish side Antalyaspor after passing a medical and fellow midfielder Tjaronn Chery is set to join Chinese Super League side Guizhou Hengfeng Zhicheng for £4m.

Hmmmm, from that wording I'd read it as the deal may be permanent - even though all the talk so far has been of a loan move. Why else would he need to 'agree personal terms'? I guess we'll find out shortly...

Am I the only one whom thought Polter was not that bad? He was scoring but I don't think playing him alone up front did him any favours.

Am I the only one whom thought Polter was not that bad? He was scoring but I don't think playing him alone up front did him any favours. Not at all. He is not the most talented player we've ever seen, but he was certainly competitive and hard working. His sliding tackles had to be seen to be believed. We didn't give him enough opportunities to do this: However, we are a selling club and appear to have made a profit on him.

Its like a mirror image every f**king window , we yet again get wingers a plenty , youngsters who never get playing time , and sell off our top goal scorers. This is the most screwed up club in the history of football , no f**king wonder we are shite at everything football related . Oh for a manager and owners with an ounce of common sense .

There was supposed to be a plan this time. We were told that we wanted to play a certain way as a club, not just the way the manager of the month wants us to play. The youth teams would train that way, we would recruit players who play that way and when a manager left for whatever reason we would find another manager who could play the way we wanted them to play.
That lasted about 3 months and we're back to totally re-inventing the wheel every transfer window. Unreal.

I wouldn't get too overwrought yet!
So far, assuming that these deals do get ratified, we've sold a player who was not going to sign a new contract and another who was reportedly homesick, both for more than we paid for them. I think that we all know the grief that would have been dished out if we'd held onto them and allowed them to leave at the end of their contracts for free.
We have also shipped out a player that we all know that we couldn't afford and sent another away on loan that no one wants to see anywhere near the team.
It is all a matter of interpretation, but I see nothing yet which signifies a change in plan.
I wrote in AKUTR's at the end of last season "We will have to take a holistic view to the transfer activities this summer .... rather than agonising over each individual deal", I think this may be even more true in this window.

Agreed 57... unusual that we act so decisively - and profitably.
I like Polter - always put in a 100% shift, scared the cr*p out of defenders - and helped out on defensive duties.
In all honesty though, his first touch was usually poor, as was his close control, and I never felt confident that he was our natural, first choice striker - rather a shake-it-up 'Plan-B' sub.
But thanks, and the very best of luck to him in Berlin.

Guess we'll be able to judge better when the window closes
See how many players come and go...
Obviously Sandro and hopefully Caulker, was "expected"
Selling Polter for profit (if we did), ok...
But if say 6 leave and 6 come in (including loans), then I'd say PROBLEM

Am I the only one whom thought Polter was not that bad? He was scoring but I don't think playing him alone up front did him any favours. Nah, I definitely rate him - and I would say the saddening thing is that you could see a really tangible improvement in his quality of play from when he signed up until he left so there may have been more to come there. Plus, as I've said, I just think he's a bit odd and was very 'QPR'. But others have said, it sounds like he wanted to go back to Germany and we made a profit, I can't get too down on that.

Doesn't necessarily mean the rumour isn't true - visual content plays better on twitter so if someone is trying to drive followers to their account as they've got an exclusive, an image tends to get more engagement, even if it is fake and the story is true. Or, more likely, it's just some weirdo playing for twitter attention. Bloody weird tho.

I thought Caulker would be free to go June, however still has another year left after that. Signed a four year deal. Only joined us to play alongside Rio Shame about Cousins but Caulker wont be in Holloways plans, will hopefully sell him in the summer or loan him for his final year. We still another year of JET yet when he returns in a few months.
