The westlondonsport article in full. Probably thinks he's too good for little old QPR Probably thinks he's worth more than what's on offer under the new, more sensible wage structure...

Remember this one from the "dark" days?
From the BBC deadline day blog
Times you got involved in deadline day
I remember serving a dejected looking Peter Odemwingie in a Petrol garage after he filled up his car on the way back to West Brom after turning up at Loftus Road.

From sports mole www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/qpr/transfer-talk/news/morrison-responds-to-wage-demands-reports_290692.htmlRavel Morrison responds to wage demands reportsBy Matt Law, European Football Editor Filed: Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at 14:03 UK Ravel Morrison has laughed off suggestions that he is demanding more money from Queens Park Rangers in order to join the Championship outfit on loan this month. The 23-year-old is still contracted to Lazio, but has been in England during the January transfer window training with Wigan Athletic and QPR as he seeks a return to the English game. According to Sky Sports News, QPR's deal for the controversial midfielder will not through unless Morrison drops his wage demands, but the former Manchester United youngster has responded to those claims with a direct tweet to a reporter. @skykaveh I didn't no you could demand more wages on a loan deal π β ravel morrison (@morrisonravel) January 31, 2017Morrison, who was widely regarded as one of the best youngsters in English football during his time at Man United, has not made a single appearance for Lazio this season. The midfielder is under contract with his Italian side - the club he joined on a free in 2015 - until June 2019.

Rescuing Ravel?
Posted at 22:31 Ravel Morrison
Matt Smith might not be the last deal QPR conclude today. They are reportedly in talks with former Manchester United and West Ham midfielder Ravel Morrison. Ian Holloway clearly thinks he's the man to prevent Morrison's seemingly inevitable slide to becoming the English Freddy Adu.

From the Evening Standard www.standard.co.uk/sport/football/qpr-locked-in-talks-to-bring-ravel-morrison-back-to-loftus-road-on-loan-from-lazio-a3454521.htmlMorrison back to Loftus Road on loan from LazioSIMON JOHNSON 8 minutes ago QPR are still locked in talks with Lazio over signing Ravel Morrison on loan for the second time in his career. Morrison has failed to make an impact at the Serie A club since joining as a free agent in July 2015, five months after his contract at West Ham was terminated early. The 23-year-old has made just seven appearances for Lazio, only one of which was from the start. His last outing was against Sampdoria nine months ago. Morrison has been training with QPR over the past few days and the two clubs are negotiating a loan in view of a permanent move at the end of the season. The former Manchester United trainee enjoyed the best spell of his career when he was at Loftus Road on loan from West Ham from February to May 2014. He scored six goals in 17 appearances and helped the club reach the Championship play-off final, although was an unused substitute in the 1-0 win over Derby. Turkish club Trabzonspor have been linked with a late offer, but Rangers still hope they can come to an agreement with Lazio, as well as Morrison and his representatives, before the 11pm deadline.

Lets Remember.
If Caulkers loan deal is just until summer 17 Its not gone as in gone. We signed him on a 4 year, yes 4 year deal to summer 2018.
So we will still have him for another year unless we can sell him this summer, JET will also have one more year left to Summer 2018.
So we have two to sell in the summer or loan them for final year.

Signing Matt Smith and Luke Freeman is a bit of quiet genius IMO. It's so typically Ollie that he should have pulled this off, especially at the prices which are an utter bargain. They played together for a spell when Matt Smith went on loan to Bristol City in 2015. Freeman was played in the hole behind Smith. Freeman was very much a player who wanted the ball and when his teammates gave it to him, he created something. Smith scored something like 11 goals in 10 games during that loan including these four goals against Gillingham which included a "true" hat trick (one with each foot and one with the head, uninterrupted by any other goal). youtu.be/KYXxAaKIShQNever mind Morrison, these signings are far more important.

Wszolek signs permanent deal, great news Blimey didn't see that one coming. Wonder if the Chelsea rumours forced their hand. When was the last time we had a player on loan with the option to buy and we actually bought them?

Lovely Jubbly, thanks Fabs. Needs game time, lots of it like Gladwin. Pleased with all our business this window, havnt spent much got some decent additions. Now stay in this League. Buy sensibly in the Summer and let Ollie work some magic and see what happens. Well done Les and the Club, pretty sensible signings, Ravel was always going to be a bit of a Marmite in the mix.

We've put depth into the squad and saved money while we are at it. Good business - just need the results to support it.

If that's it for this window and we do not get another striker , what will be our best starting line up..? Does Ollie have an idea or do we experiment for the next 10 games. Washington Smith Sylla Mackie Lualua Morrison Freeman Goss Manning Wszolek, luonga, Cousins, Hall, Doughty Furlong, Perch, Ned, Lynch, Bidwell Smithies Ingram Good squad on paper but short on defensive cover and cannot fit all those into an 18 man match day squad. Good business but No more excuses - points on the board needed now. I lose track on who is out on loan and who is injured but ignoring Caulker I think defensive cover in Grant Hall, Niko, Jack Robinson and Kakay probably has a recall option in his loan.
