However, the company owned by billionaire Lakshmi Mittal, has offloaded a massive 19 per cent of its Rangers shares to just 11 per cent. Mittal, was persuaded in 2007 by racing supremo Bernie Ecclestone and former owner Flavio Briatore to take an initial 20 per cent interest in Hoops. Part of the deal saw Mittal's son-in-law, Amit Bhatia, take a place on the board. However, Mittal plummeted from sixth richest man on the planet to 82nd in 2015 no thanks to a crisis in the steel industry, and is rarely seen at Loftus Road for matches. There remains a less than 1% minority interest shareholding. The share changes are subject to ratification from Companies House.

Queens Park Rangers co-chairman Ruben Gnanalingam has increased his shareholding in the club to 33%.
The Malaysian businessman holds the shares in QPR Holdings Limited, the Championship club's parent company, through Total Soccer Growth Sdn Bhd.
Co-chairman Tony Fernandes' company QPR Asia Sdn Bhd has reduced its shareholding from 69% to 55%.
Sea Dream Ltd's shareholding, which represents the Mittal family, has reduced from 30% to 11%.

I doubt that this will make much difference, but I'm pleased that Ruben Gnanalingam is now a major shareholder.
I could easily be wrong, but he is the one person on our board that I have faith in. Under his leadership we appear to have abandoned our past excesses & introduced realism to how the club is managed.
