Here's some typically 'good' journalism from BT Sport, listing our players over 32 who are out of contract, including a 33 year old Ale Faurlin... Pathetic.

Getting £2m for a player who cost us nothing, is 35 and nearing the end of his contract is fairly decent in my books.

QPR return Isla to Juve By Football Italia staff Mauricio Isla is heading back to Juventus, as QPR won’t take up their option after relegation. The Chile international was loaned out to Queen’s Park Rangers over the summer. The one-season loan was worth €1.5m, plus an option to make the movepermanent for €10m. However, as QPR were relegated from the Premier League to the Championship, Calciomercato.com claim they won’t keep hold of Isla. He is unlikely to remain in Turin either and could remain in England with a move to Watford. The club has just secured promotion to the Premier League and is owned by the Pozzo family, who also run Udinese and Spanish side Granada. www.football-italia.net/66427/qpr-return-isla-juve?

I know Charlie, Green and Phillips are nailed on to be leaving in the summer.
What about Fer?
Any chance he'll stay? He would be very dangerous to opponents in the Championship.

And what about Caulker?
No way we'll get back what we paid for him. He's been so disappointing this season.
But... If motivated, he will be very very good at Championship level.

I would keep Fer if possible and Austin too. But out of that lot of over 30 year olds, I would consider Henry but the rest bye bye......well maybe Barton to stay. We are going to need some "fighters" in the middle. Here is a chance to bring our average age down to about 26 by getting in some guys that want to prove themselves, not just grab the pay slip.

£20m Austin GettyCharlie Austin of QPR looks on during the match between Queens Park Rangers and Newcastle United. Liverpool will need to pay £20million if they want to prise Charlie Austin from QPR. Rangers director of football Les Ferdinand is still hopeful they can hold on to the hotshot, even though they have been relegated. “We would love to keep Charlie Austin at QPR,” he told talkSPORT. “When I was playing at this football club with Andy Sinton and Trevor Sinclair, if they had a good season, because of the size of the club, people are going to come in for them. It’s the same with Charlie. “It’s up to us to try and keep the wolves from the door but you’re never going to stop them from knocking and coming in. www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/liverpool-news-transfers-reds-make-5711081

I'd keep Barton on vastly reduced wages , Karl Henry deserves another contract , Faurlin if his fit or pay as you play , would try to keep Austin and Fer but not likely , rest can go .

The guy was lightweight and gave the ball away far too much. Spurs then somehow managed to loan him out to a good Prem team in Swansea where he's been fairly average/awful

Liverpool to pay QPR £10m if they sell Raheem Sterling Exclusive: London club due at least 20 per cent of transfer fee for England winger Raheem Sterling will win QPR a £10m windfall if he leaves Liverpool Raheem Sterling playing against former club Quen Park Rangers Photo: ACTION IMAGES Life on board cruise ships Ever wondered what it’s like to work on a cruise ship? Find out from cruise director Katy Ickringill Sponsored by Thomson Cruises Jason Burt By Jason Burt, Sunday Telegraph Football Correspondent2:56PM BST 23 May 2015 Comments1 Comment Queens Park Rangers will make a windfall of up to £10million if Liverpool sell Raheem Sterling. Liverpool are adamant that they will reject any offers they receive for the winger, who has two years left on his current contract, despite his agent Aidy Ward declaring Sterling intends to leave the club this summer. Their resolve to retain Sterling may soften should a club offer around £50million, in which case Queens Park Rangers would be due at least 20 per cent of that fee under the terms agreed when Liverpool signed him for £600,000 from the Loftus Road club in 2010. That would equate to around £10million. Should Liverpool not be persuaded to sell Sterling this year, and the player does not plan to issue a formal transfer request, the situation is likely to change in 2016, when Sterling will enter the final year of his contract unless he agrees to sign a new one in the meantime. Liverpool do not want to allow Sterling to run his current deal down beyond that point, even though manager Brendan Rodgers has said they would be prepared to do so. Brendan Rodgers says he wants Raheem Sterling to see out his contract (REX). In essence, Liverpool appear to be heading towards a re-run of what happened with Luis Suarez when they rejected Arsenal's bid of £40million (plus £1) in 2013, then persuaded the striker to sign a new contract before selling him to Barcelona the following summer for £65million. As well as hoping to keep Sterling for one more years, it is believed they would prefer to sell the England international to an overseas club should he go. Sterling, it is understood, would prefer to remain in England and is hoping that either Chelsea or Arsenal will bid for him. Both Manchester clubs, United and City, are believed to have already registered their interest in Sterling, with City the likeliest to bid a sum close to what is perceived to be the asking price. Sterling does not represent a priority for United, it seems. As transpired with the Suarez case, Liverpool's owners, the Fenway Sports Group, are determined to sell on their terms and are willing to force an unhappy player to stay. FSG also told Suarez that they would not sell to another Premier League club under any circumstances and may deliver a similar message to Sterling. Liverpool are confident of signing Burnley's Danny Ings for around £7million (GETTY). Liverpool called off a meeting with Ward which was scheduled on Friday to discuss Sterling's future after comments attributed to the agent in the London Evening Standard made it clear there was no intention of negotiating a new deal. However the two sides are still expected to meet in the coming weeks. Liverpool have offered Sterling a new £100,000-a-week contract on a five-year term, to replace his existing £35,000-a-week deal, but he has steadfastly refused to sign. Liverpool had hoped to announce the new deal as long ago as last January but have been thwarted. Sterling is expected to play for Liverpool in Sunday's final league match of the season, away to Stoke City, and it will be interesting to see the reaction he receives from the away fans. The game also marks Steven Gerrard's final appearance for Liverpool before he leaves to play for LA Galaxy. Liverpool are believed to be confident that they can land deals to sign Burnley's out-of-contract, striker Danny Ings, for a fee that could nevertheless still go as high as £7million and midfielder James Milner whose deal at City is also coming to an end. Milner is also wanted by Arsenal. www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/football/teams/liverpool/11626059/Liverpool-to-pay-QPR-10m-if-they-sell-Raheem-Sterling.html

Not only Taarabt here balances of QPR May 23 at 13:00 Just a year after promotion to the Premier League, reached with a goal from Bobby Zamora last minute of the play-off against Derby County, Queens Park Rangers back in the Championship. A disappointing result, given the investments made by the owner of the London club, Tony Fernandes, last summer. Among the many arrivals at Loftus Road, the former Manchester United Rio Ferdinand, who was supposed to lead the defense paired with Steven Caulker, young school Tottenham paid around 11 million euro. WALL BRAZILIAN - Another former Spurs who reached his old coach, Harry Redknapp, is the Brazilian Sandro, central midfielder of 26 years, but behind a great experience in the Premier and the national green-gold. For him, the Rangers have shelled out more than 12 million. An injury to the ligaments in his right knee limited him last season, where he still put together 17 caps and one goal against his former team. Hard to believe that you agree to play in the English second division. In the past it was close to Inter, which even today is looking for reinforcements for the line, as well as AC Milan, which in June will greet Michael Essien, Sulley Muntari and Marco van Ginkel. Flying Dutchman - Companion department Sandro is Dutch Leroy Fer. He, too, has come to QPR last season, after a great year with Norwich. In summer he was in the World Cup with his national team and scored one goal, against Chile. In the season of the team Redknapp was one of the most positive. It 'a modern midfielder, who sees the door (the 6 goals scored this season) and good in the entry. Last summer had been linked to Milan and can return an interesting profile for the Rossoneri to a year away. HORSE BACK - Those who played in Milan, and well, is Adel Taarabt. In the six-month loan at Milanello he has impressed everyone with the ease of jumping man and excellent shooting. The 4 goals in 14 games, however, are not enough to earn a confirmation with the Rossoneri. In London he lived in a separate house by season, with Redknapp who often accused him of being overweight and engage little in training. The Moroccan playmaker in Italian found himself well, even in January prompted to return to Serie A and, one year after expiry of his contract next summer will leave QPR. Many teams are making us a little thought. These include Genoa, which probably lose Diego Perotti and hopefully with Taarabt to redo an operation similar to the one made with the outside of Argentina, arrived in Liguria quietly and raised a great season with Gasperini. www.calciomercato.com/news/non-solo-taarabt-ecco-i-saldi-del-qpr-906203

The central defender Lamine Kone, Lorient, was Friday appointed by the English portal HITC as a possible target for Sporting next season. According to that source, the defense Ivorian, 26, is still followed by other teams, including Sunderland, West Ham United or QPR. Besides this three English sets, the lions may still have competition from Marseille and Hoffenheim in the race for a central defense of 1.89 meters, which has been one of the figures of the time of Lorient in Ligue 1. www.record.xl.pt/Futebol/Nacional/1a_liga/Sporting/interior.aspx?content_id=950365

QPR to ‘make every attempt’ to keep Austin charlieaustin 25/05/2015 By John Mastrini Chris Ramsey says QPR will do everything they can to hold on to Charlie Austin this summer. Having earned a first call-up to the England squad, the 25-year-old striker scored his 18th goal of the season in Rangers’ 5-1 thumping at Leicester. Top-flight clubs are seemingly interested in signing Austin, but head coach Ramsey wants him to stay. Soccer - Barclays Premier League - Leicester City v Queens Park Rangers - King Power Stadium Leicester v QPR player ratings “I will imagine that anybody who scores that many goals and is going to the England camp would not be looking elsewhere than playing in the Premier League, but we’re going to make every attempt to keep him,” Ramsey said. “He’s somebody that we need, and it’s very difficult to buy strikers of that pedigree to come into the team and start scoring.” Austin’s stellar form up front has been one of the few bright sparks in QPR’s woeful season. There are expected to be several comings and goings in the transfer window as the club attempts to rebuild. “Most of it is out of my hands,” Ramsey added. “I’ll have a discussion with Les [Ferdinand] and the owners so everyone knows who’s going to be there and who’s not. That will probably be known quite quickly. “We know that our budget is going to be limited, and that’s why patience is going to be important.” www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-to-make-every-attempt-to-keep-austin?

Total Bs
Not going to happen
Not good for Austin for it to happen
Not going to be in Champ for just one season before bouncing back (Probably)
And if we can afford to keep a 15 million pound player...that means we can also sell him and use the 15 million on other players (which I doubt we will)
