We've had some real crappy foreign imports over the last few years, have we finally got it right with Yun, Vargas & Isla?
Yun was outstanding against Villa and was unlucky not to get MotM but a double goalscorer will, in most cases, get chosen for that accolade
The next thing is to try to keep them. Am I right in thinking that Vargas & Isla have right to buy clauses in their loan deals? And you can bet the big clubs will come sniffing around Yun.

We'll start with Rossi in goal...Ukah in defense...Armel in midfield....And of course, Pellicori up front - All courtesy of Gianni!
But the one positive, we weren't paying wages quite like we've being these past few years...

Far more home grown rubbish in that time than foreign....just too easy to say our recruitment issues have been because we've bought foreigners...our recruitment has just been poor full stop.

No one's really "due" anything but those 3 certainly look like they will actually contribute something positive rather than just pick up their money and run.
And isn't it ironic that the Asian player TF wanted to sell his brand over there is going to end up coming not from some expensive ex Man Utd superstar but some unheralded defender from the little known South Korean leagues.

eus, you appear to have misunderstood the premise of this thread. I was comparing the foreign imports to the type brought in by Hughes (lazy mercenaries) and comparing them to the ones that were brought in this season.

Fab I'm sure you are attempting to make a comparison between the Bosingwa-type & the Vargas-type but I think its no more valid than a Johnson v Austin.

Fab I'm sure you are attempting to make a comparison between the Bosingwa-type & the Vargas-type but I think its no more valid than a Johnson v Austin. I was specifically referring to the players Hughes brought in such as M'bia & Diakite. Johnson v Austin was a different case as Johnson, on the rare occasion he played, put the effort in.
