QPR fan trying to get a ticket for the fan forum sent a few tweets to Ian Taylor and Tony Fernandes. It was then announced how tickets would be allocated. Away ST holders 540 points.
This excluded this fan, who in his disappointment tweeted again. Yesterday Mr Fernandes then said he'll get an invite. However this morning Ian Taylor tweeted to basically tell him that he doesn't have an invite and that it's the media team who gives them out.
A bit awkward. Personally I can see where Taylor is coming from. But Fernandes should honour the offer made. Interesting to see how this one pans out.

There were a few tweets I saw requesting/asking for tickets...
In this case, I'd have thought if THE BOSS has said someone is coming, it's ultimately going to be hard for someone working for QPR to say no (regardless of the process. etc)

Did not cw have a fans meet in a tv studio, larger venue where more fans could attend, and did he not answer questions by himself and not have distractions such as ex players, players, sitting in to hold his hand.

Bill Power and Devlin...Gianni Paladini - who I'm not biased in favour - had quite a few meetings with Fan groups Our last fan forum - had Redknapp in the party - and I was very critical of that inclusion The current one - You could make a case for Hill. You could make a case for Redknapp. To include Marsh makes no sense if your interest is in current QPR.

Reading that Malcom has to go. IMO Left hand not knowing what the right hand is doing sums up how the club is being run, and yes Malcolm should go.

Surly fairer for fans is to pick from the season ticket fanbase no matter how many points you have, otherwise the same people are going to be picked out every time that there is a fans forum, or let fans apply and pick from them.

Surly fairer for fans is to pick from the season ticket fanbase no matter how many points you have, otherwise the same people are going to be picked out every time that there is a fans forum, or let fans apply and pick from them. Neil Dejyothin, at the last Comms and Media meeting, made this point. "Neil Dejyothin said that it was a good opportunity to offer other supporters a chance to discuss matters with the Chairman or any future fans forums. There should be some opportunity for a random draw to take place that covers all season ticket holders, and that it’s important that not just the same group of fans turn up for each of these events."

That poor media guy, working for Fernandes must surely have raised his blood pressure somewhat lol. Fernandes doesn't micro manage QPR and all these additions to the Fan Forum ( doing a panel with others) were definitely not his idea. Originally he was probably thinking of doing some sort of town house style meeting where he's on stage fielding live questions from the audience. He would be in his element there, the showman that he is. But I guess the QPR media/marketing/PR people talked him out of it.
nevertheless he has already promised another Fan Forum, this time to be done on your actual field. If QPR gets promoted.

Why just season ticket holders? I only have a membership and thanks to having to seriously cut down on expenses in my family I haven't been able to a attend as much as I would have liked since the Champions 10/11 season but it doesn't make me any less of a fan than any of those going

People attend different numbers of games for many and varied reasons. Going to fewer games doesn't mean you care any less or are less of a supporter but I think it's entirely reasonable to have a system where those that attend the most games have the best chance of attending these events.
Having said that it would be nice if everyone with loyalty points had at least a chance so how about a raffle where you got an entry for every 50 loyalty points or so. Which would give everyone a chance but weight the odds in favour of those with the most points. That's about as fair an idea as I can come up with

WHy not have a special one off event in the stadium in the off season with all ST holders and club members invited. Tony could sit on the halway line with a microphone and have it up on the screens? Perhaps 2000 might show but who knows?

I wanted to go to that forum but didn't have enough points. Shame really because we should all be able to attend these things and not a select few. Ellers
