Still looking backwards Mac?! Looking backwards you can always find something to prove whatever point it is you want. I prefer to look forward. We have a new Manager, a team that's reinvigorated. I look forward to good things happening. "Time will tell", that well known mantra for looking backwards eh?

Hoping for the best is what every supporter does. But it tells us nothing about what will actually happen, because hoping for the best has nothing to do with how good we are. We hope for the best whether we are any good or not.
So, if we look forward, what are we looking forward AT? Nothing has happened yet. But when it eventually does, we'll know the calibre of the people in question by their results.
Why don't THEY have sufficient belief in themselves and confidence to let their results do the talking?
Is it because they know only too well they DON'T have what it takes?
And when we do look at their results, there is little or no evidence for the claims they've made and the reassurances they've given.
The future is useless to us, we can't learn anything from it. Except that if we want a future, we need to understand why we've got it wrong so often in the past.
Hoping we'll do well isn't evidence that we've got what it takes. But our past is full of lessons, if we're honest enough to admit we have a lot to learn.
