Calm down people!!!
Basically every kit supplier (Nike, Adidas, Puma etc) have a set of 'default' designs, the kind of designs that teams in League Two get for example, the same basic template used by many many teams, the kind of kit you could buy for your Sunday League pub team. What I think TF means is for our first season we'll get a very basic, common hooped shirt until the season after when they'll design something specific to us that only we will have, if that makes any kind of season??

Thing is, i was on my second bottle of the vino last night, then i read "cant design a proper hooped shirt" and it got my back up, and my suspicion of TF got the better of me. I was bought up by a left wing socialist(me pa) who taught me to look upon people like TF(rank capitalist) with suspicion and not to trust them, so i may have jumped the gun, but i will never trust TF, he has vested interest's for him and his mates, i for one will keep my suspicion's, smiling assassin's of the business world people like TF, shake your hand promise you this and that, once your back is turned, he thinks that's another sucker i have just fooled. maybe i tar all these people with the same brush, but millions of pounds of debt after two years in the so called land of milk honey is not acceptable, its not his debt its QPR'S debt, why would i trust a man who has lumbered us with all this debt.

I'd NEVER suggest the club disparages when ask questions about things themselves said by the Club (or the Chairman)... (Was SWP a 3 year deal or 4 year deal?)

And here we are at the end of February.... Within the next four weeks - after consultation QPR chairman Tony Fernandes confirmed on Twitter on Friday that the club will be changing its badge. The current design, introduced by former co-owner Flavio Briatore, has been unpopular among many fans. Fernandes said fans will be consulted and suggested the new logo would be largely based on a previous club badge. “I can confirm to all QPR fans that we will look at updating our badge for 2015 season,” Fernandes tweeted.
“Must be done by end of Feb. Feeling is it will be based on Old logo ams refresh. Will get all your views. I’m excited.”www.westlondonsport.com/features-comment/qpr-logo-to-be-changed-fernandes-wls-footballDESIGN WEEK - Tom Banks
QPR to engage fans in crest redesignThu, 2 Jan 2014 | Championship football club Queens Park Rangers is looking to redesign its club crest following calls by club chairman Tony Fernandes to engage fans in a process that will replace the current logo, which has been unpopular among many fans. The current logo was introduced by former QPR chairman Flavio Briatore at the end of the 2007/2008 season. Fernandes became chairman in August 2011 and has tweeted, ‘I can confirm to all QPR fans that we will look at updating our badge for 2015 season.’ He added, ‘Feeling is it will be based on old logo. Will get all your views.’ Fernandes says the new logo design will be in place by the end of February. The club has confirmed that this is accurate and that a redesign will take place following a period of engagement with fans but says a firm plan is not yet in place. The club’s marketing department will manage any design development and the club says it does not yet know whether it will design in-house or work with consultancies. In October last year Permier League club Everton chose a new crest after consulting with its fans following the redesign of this season’s badge, which had been designed in-house and met with criticism from some supporters. Last year fellow Premier League club Crystal Palace introduced a new crest that was both chosen and designed by fans. As I've already said, not in place for next season so the February 'deadline' doesn't need to be met and won't be met

Since it seems that the "deadline" is not going to be met, I think it's fair to say that it probably doesn't need to be met.
And the relative importance of the crest as compared to everything else at QPR, I agree.
But on a broader: The club says something; the Chairman says something... I think it's fair to then say, "You said this...What changed?"
And not just to let comments be made, and then ignored/forgotten.
I did the same with Briatore-Ecclestone...And of course with our beloved Chairman Paladini

As I said, the 'deadline' was made redundant months ago when TF said so himself on London Call-In.

Official site PUBLISHED 15:10 17th March 2014 by @officialqpr Re-branding of club crest put on hold ... FOLLOWING today's exciting announcement that Nike will be our new technical partner from the start of next season, the club can confirm that the re-branding of the crest has been put on hold. QPR Chairman, Tony Fernandes, told http://www.qpr.co.uk: “We are fully committed to our plans for a new crest, but the announcement of our Nike partnership and the lead times it creates makes it sensible to put any changes on hold for the moment. “When the time is right, fan consultation will - as always - be key, as we look to design a crest that all our supporters can be proud of.” Read more at www.qpr.co.uk/news/article/170314-crest-rebranding-update-1427313.aspx#Lmb78oaw78w3FLC2.99

Okay so a new Badge or bringing back a former badge might no be the most important item on the agenda but can we get rid of the Orange Donut badge and all it has represented?
