Of course some might feel that Tony enjoys adulation...But should someone - hypothetically say, point to various past things he'd said and done: Well that Would probably in his eyes constitute Negativism or moaning!

www.brecorder.com/sports/other-sports/128872-fernandes-says-no-regrets-about-buying-qpr.htmlFernandes says no regrets about buying QPR Wednesday, 24 July 2013 16:19 Queen's Park Rangers owner Tony Fernandes Wednesday said he doesn't regret buying the club despite its relegation from England's top flight, adding that he still hopes to turn it into "something special". Fernandes, who ploughed millions of pounds (dollars) into QPR in a bid to keep them in the Premier League, said he had no interest in owning bigger clubs like Liverpool or Arsenal as that would mean "buying someone else's success". "I bought Queen's Parks Rangers, and we all know, it's been well documented, the bad season we had last year. Would I do it again? Absolutely!" he told journalists in Singapore, at the launch of a sponsorship deal between his budget airline, AirAsia, and the national team. "People said, why didn't I buy Liverpool or Arsenal? That will never be me," said the Malaysian tycoon. "I would have been buying someone else's success. I didn't make Liverpool the great club it was. Bill Shankly, and all the other previous owners (sic) did." Fernandes, who also owns the Caterham Formula One racing team, said he knew relegation was a strong possibility when he bought the club in 2011. He previously estimated that he has invested around £50 million ($78 million, 59 million euros) in the West London outfit. "But in 10 years' time, in 12 years' time, if we are able to build something special at QPR, we can stand back and say 'Wow, we did that'," he said. The colourful entrepreneur said the deal between AirAsia -- QPR's shirt sponsor -- and the Singapore team could see local players taking training stints at the club under Harry Redknapp, "the man who drives me crazy". "Believe me, I have met people from all over the world and there's only one Harry Redknapp. I am very lucky to have got a fantastic manager like him," he said.

Wonder what happened to the £50 million, then? Is he laundering it, or what? The Club had £40 million or so a season for the past two years. Surely, after all his denials, he isn't telling us he spent £130 million on the marvellous squads of the past two seasons. And how come the debt soared to £89 million if the Club was earning tens of millions a season, and Fernandes is pouring money in himself Surely he isn't saying that spending in the past TWO seasons has been: 1. His '£50 million' 2. £40 million income first season 3. £40 million income next season 4. £40 million that's gone on the debt? in that time? 5. Oh, I forgot. Another £15 million secured against the Ground. Is that on top of the ABC/Amulya loan, or instead of it? That's around £170 million. Maybe 'Arry - being a genius and a man who makes money for his Clubs - has recouped most of this already, selling off our wonderful players at a premium. How did he do it? Explained that the abysmal performances weren't the players' fault, he was responsible. These people aren't right in the head. And this is Fernandes's principle 'cheapest always wins'? Didn't he say that? . Can you imagine a football agent running his player's career like these goons? Here, son, there's £80 million over 2 seasons for you, I got you that, and I'm PERSONALLY GIVING you £50 million out of MY OWN POCKET. Wonderful, eh? So that's £89 million you owe me, and I'm selling off your house. I need something big to advertise me on. I'll tweet how much you love me. Hey, manners! - thank me! That's better.

Well Tony, you did learn a lot from last season. New Lesson Number 1: How to F*** up a dead cert signing and losing him! Thanks a F***en lot for dragging your arse on getting someone proven to score goals for us. If you are under the delusion that Zamora & Johnson are the answer, I suggest you change your brand of substances that help you live that dream. the reality is Zamora & Johnson are worth 5 goals all season and thats between them both in total.

Fernandes is a wounded animal.
He's always tried to foster a personal relationship with senior officers in all his companies. He brought Warnock and a few players over to Dubai to show off. He persisted with Hughes for too long and, barely knowing Redknapp for a few months gave the man a car for his birthday.
Which is why Fernandes can casually refer to motorsport drivers, CEOs of multimillion dollar companies and until recently, QPR players on an amiable first name basis. Senior personnel in turn do the same for near subordinates. The same reason why Kamaruddin (Din)once brought the three Muslim players of QPR over to his place for an Open Fast once. At the same time Fernandes has a massive ego obviously. He was being serious when he said he was personally disappointed by the attitude of a few QPR players. His image and reputation have taken a beating.
Not sure why fans are not taking his warning seriously. He's been quoted as saying he is prepared to fore-go promotion and stay in the Championship beyond next season if that's what it takes. He's gone on about 'the right sort' and the 'right culture'. He's already clashed with Redknapp publicly concerning Wayne Bridge and tweeted the fining of four players and has been silent on Adel, where once he stated Adel would never be sold.
Maybe it's the wrong way to go about it if he wants to be promoted as per Harry's schedule. But i think he's been burned and is no longer available to play FIFA with prospective targets anymore.

I am not sure fernades can be blamed for the non signing of Hooper. Many people knew weeks ago that he was using QPR as a stalking horse and fall back position. He was never going to sign for us if a prem team had a bid accepted. He and Norwich played it nicely and Norwich have got him for the minimum possible In terms of a fee
I don't see what more fernandes could have done.
