Hi hitman i enjoy your banter on here as it funny a lot of the time.
although i do think you are west ham fan from another certain site
who produces similar banter against qpr supporters on a regular
basis .
It is common knowledge all are welcome on here as are you.
i am pleased you agree about this thread as it does seem on (paper)
lol to be true and if so they become just trophy/glory hunters then
they can stuff off to wherever it is they end up and hopefully
spend their time sitting on someones bench keeping their ar.es

Not sure where Tom got his Diakite information from but a squad member has said that he has never been fully fit since he joined us and he has definitely been suffering the affects every since January. This is nothing to do with the 10 game scenario so as we say..... KEEP CALM, WERE STAYING UP !!!
Rory I totally agree that Traore is better than Taiwo, and in fact, he is much better. Its not Taye's first touch that worries me, its his second, third and fourth that concerns me!!

I think Taiwo might be slightly better at positioning and defending but Traore is definitely better going forward. Also I can't see Taiwo getting any better at the age of 28 whereas Traore is 22 and has lots of room to grow. |

I'll guess all of this will become clear on Friday when the window opens (June 1st you said, Rory, is that correct).
I have no issues with players using us a shop-window as long as they provide a decent service for us whilst they are here. After all, isn't that what going out on loan is all about, even if the loanee intends to stay at their parent club, e.g. Macheda.

Good. Good to see their Mods showing some responsibility too. Who knows, one day we may be able to reciprocate. I reckon Traore was pretty unfortunate to become 2nd choice personally...I think he's a class act, and thanks to his Arsenal upbringing, has superb ball skills. Who made the 2nd goal vs City? Although, Taiwo can hit a fantastic cross as well to his credit, but I like Traore's pacey attacking play. I'd like to see a lot more of him next season, as a winger or full back.
Taiwo was alright, but didn't inspire me! Seemed a bit...'clunky' at times? Diakite, great player, but we'll have to wait and see.
The best bit about it all really, is that it's now a case of who are we going to sign rather than IF we're going to be able to sign anyone! Stark contrast to last season...it's brilliant to be able to get excited about the Summer and really look forward to next season for a change. Hughes and Fernandes will inevitably bring in the right level of quality to push on, whoever they may be.

I wouldn't actually be overly bothered if we didn't sign Taiwo. I liked him a lot and thought he was really good for us plus his passion for the club and football was there for all to see but I think Traore is slightly better. Also Taiwo is 27 or 28 now whereas Traore is 22. I am more bothered about Diakite, I can say I would be very gutted should he go elsewhere. My sentiments exactly. |

Maybe we have, but we are a small club and as much as i would love to keep Diakete, you never keep want away players at your club, it is counter-productive in the end.Even if the guy goes he did alright for us and played his part in a never-to-be-forgotten season.We move on!!!
