Hope so, he's a great talent. Would love to see him at QPR. Jonathan Parr is also a steady left back/midfeilder. Voted POTY at Palace this season. I think he will be in the Norway team tonight. According to John Arne Riise, Parr is ready for the prem level. I guess he will be signed by clubs like Reading,Soton and West Ham maybe.

Stevenage eye Agyemang return Smith keen to bring back loan star Last Updated: May 26, 2012 12:09pm Sky Sports understands Stevenage manager Gary Smith wants to re-sign free agent Patrick Agyemang this summer. The 30-year-old spent the second half of last season on-loan at Broadhall Way from Queens Park Rangers where he made 15 appearances. Despite the fact he only managed to snare a solitary goal during his spell, Smith believes his experience of playing at a higher level would benefit the club. Agyemang, a Ghana international, was among a cluster of players released by Mark Hughes last week, as the Hoops chief starts his preparations for next season. Boro, however, are ready to offer him an immediate route back into the game and spearhead their assault on League One next season. www1.skysports.com/football/news/12691/7779375/Stevenage-eye-Agyemang-return

If you're spearheading a way back to the Prem it certainly never, ever should involve Patrick Agyemang!
What gets into some peoples minds sometimes

Dave McInytyre/West London Sport QPR to discuss future of keeper Kenny Kenny knows Warnock well. 26/05/2012 by David McIntyre QPR are to discuss the future of goalkeeper Paddy Kenny on Monday. Kenny has been strongly linked with a move to Leeds United, having played under Elland Road boss Neil Warnock at Rangers, Sheffield United and Bury. So far there has been no formal approach from Leeds, although that could change if Kenny is made available next week. The Republic of Ireland international is about to enter the final year of his contract and had hoped to be offered a new deal at Loftus Road. An improved contract was discussed prior to QPR’s sacking of Warnock, and talks later scheduled for the first week of February did not take place. Rangers have since made enquiries about a number of keepers, including Aston Villa’s Shay Given and Birmingham’s England Under-21 international Jack Butland. Kenny, who recently turned 34, has made 77 league appearances since moving to west London in 2010. www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/leeds-could-discover7-on-monday-whether-paddy-kenny-is92-available/

Butland lol Next thing Australia will be calling up Aaron Lennox!!! Poor England. Butland may be the future but he's not the present. If there isn't currently a better English keeper than Butland, god save England. Butland lol!!!! Have you seen Butland play??? Birmingham have one of the best keeper coaches in England and he reckons he is the next best thing to Joe Hart. Don't forget Hart also had a loan spell at Birmingham. Reminds me of that old patriotic song...."There'll always be a Butland...."

West London Sport/Matt Barrett - QPR ‘to rival Liverpool for Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe’ 27/05/2012 QPR are ready to rival Liverpool for the signing of Tottenham striker Jermain Defoe, according to The People. Defoe is tipped to leave White Hart Lane this summer and Liverpool were believed to be interested before the Anfield club’s recent sacking of Kenny Dalglish. It is claimed Rangers boss Mark Hughes wants to form a new-look attack by capturing Defoe and Andy Johnson. Out-of-contract Fulham forward Johnson is said to be close to moving to Loftus Road, with Hughes keen to offload Jay Bothroyd and DJ Campbell. The Daily Star on Sunday say Joey Barton could join West Ham, whose manager Sam Allardyce signed him for Newcastle. Despite recent reports that it could cost QPR around £11m to sack Barton, the Sunday Express suggest he is unlikely to be entitled to any compensation if he is fired and that his most likely destination would be Qatar. Meanwhile, The Sun on Sunday say the R’s are keen to sign Fabio on loan from Manchester United after the defender’s move to Benfica hit a snag. www.westlondonsport.com/qpr/qpr-to-rival-liverpool-for-tottenham-striker-jermain-defoe/

Why spend £10 Million on a crap English player when you could get a much better player on the continent for half the price ?

We have to remember of course that probably 90% of these stories are bs. We've seen the kind of players Hughes signs. And at most he's probably going to sign at most a handful - including only one big name goalie!

I wouldn't have minded him as a back up Joe Lewis Joins Cardiff www.theposh.com/page/NewsDetail/0,,10427~2789536,00.html? Cardiff Official Site LEWIS AGREES DEAL WITH CARDIFF CITY Posted on: Fri 25 May 2012 As of Friday morning, we can confirm that former Peterborough United goalkeeper Joe Lewis has agreed to sign a contract with Cardiff City. Twenty-four year old Joe - a former England under-21 international and senior squad member - has put pen to paper on a deal that will commence as of July 1st 2012. Joe made a hundred and ninety appearances for the Posh between 2008 and 2012 after signing with the Cambridgeshire-based club from Norwich City. He will now link up with former Norwich colleague David Marshall, who committed himself to Cardiff City earlier this week with a three year contract extension. www.cardiffcityfc.co.uk/page/NewsDetail/0,,10335~2787421,00.html

Well if we kept BZ,CIsse, and added Defoe and Johnson with Helguson aswell 5 decent strikers there for our 25 . Hulse and Hewitt both on 2013 contracts will go as soon as offers come in .
If we get more strikers reckon DJ and Bothroyd are surplus aswell then ? I suppose if the new owners came in earlier neither would have even been bought?

Cisse was free scoring in a largely defensive team, I can bet he's pencilled in as No 1 and Zamora is our lead the line guy....I think Johnson or Defoe makes sense as cover for Cisse (injury/loss of form/sendings off) and I would then expect another BIG centre forward to come in which is why I can see legs in the Kenwyne Jones story.....but remember you need to kiss a lot of frogs to get your prince charming so the combination of multiple enquiries, agents stoking the flames and lazy journos will see us linked to everyone this summer....I'd rather see us linked to a major centre back prospect at the moment.

Not a reputable source ,but who knows? West Ham considering making a move for football bad boy Disgraced Queens Park Rangers captain Joey Barton is being eyed by newly-promoted West Ham as Sam Allardyce tries to make him move from South London to the East. Barton is banned for 12 games following a skirmish at Man City on the final day of the season. The midfielder received a red card for attacking Carlos Tevez and his subsequent actions led to the FA clamping down on the 29 year old. But Sam Allardyce isn’t worried about his antics though as he plans to make a bid for the troubled midfielder. ‘Big Sam’ will also be aware that he will miss 1/3rd of the season due to the suspension, which is a significant portion for a team looking to stay in the Premier League, Allardyce has previously worked with a number of troubled stars, mainly during his time at Bolton. But Barton is unlikely to make the same impact on the pitch as say a Jay-Jay Okacha or Nicolas Anelka. Rangers have lost patience with Barton and could offload the former Man City and Newcastle played this summer. Mark Hughes masterminded their narrow survival last year and he will have to add to his squad to prevent a repeat. Barton isn’t likely to feature in Sparky’s plan, with owner Tony Fernandes also expected to back the manager with respect to the violent midfielder. www.footylatest.com/west-ham-considering-making-a-move-for-football-bad-boy/28660?

27 MAYGiven to QPR? Javi Martinez to Man Utd? Bendtner to Dortmund? Share: With the domestic football season all but finished, the transfer rumour mill is in full operating mode. Queens Park Rangers, Manchester United and Borussia Dortmund are the latest clubs being linked with some shiny new summer purchases.
With QPR clinging on to their Premier League status, Mark Hughes is looking to pick up where he left off in his January spending spree. The name at the top of his shopping list? Aston Villa’s Shay Given. “I think it’s quite likely,” says Jason Burt of the Daily Telegraph. “Hughes rates Given very, very highly and we know he took him to Manchester City. He’s looking for an experienced first-choice goalkeeper, but whether or not Aston Villa will let him go is another matter. I think Given might want to be reunited with Hughes, so I’ll give it a seven.”

Ok so this is my transfer plans, will have realistic and un-realistic for each section.
Keeper :
Ideal transfers - Kenny moves to Leeds for £1.5m, we sign Sven Ulreich from Stuttgart for £7m.
Realistic - Kenny moves to Leeds for £1.5m, we sign Butland for £4.5m (don't think he will actually cost £6m) and then bring in Craig Gordon on a free. Or we sign Given/Foster.
Defence :
Ideal transfers - Sign Taiwo for £3.5m, Huth or Samba for £8m
Realistic transfers - Sign Taiwo for £3.5m, Fabio on loan from Utd and Hughes finds some CB from abroad that no one has ever heard of.
Midfield :
Ideal transfers - Diakite for £3.2m and Adam Johnson for £7m or Junior Hoillet for free. Promote Frankie Sutherland to the first team!!! (very important)
Realistic transfers - Diakite for £3.2m and Victor Moses for £4m. Should look at Nathan Redmond as a possible signing instead of Moses.
Strikers :
Ideal transfer - Gary Hooper £5m
Realistic transfer - Andy Johnson for free. Maybe some young striker from abroad.

I reckon Yakubu will go to Southampton.
I imagine Hughes will be looking at the foreign market as you get more bang for your buck there than in the UK market.
