OK...Maybe not! Hughes... www.talksport.co.uk/sports-news/football/premier-league/transfer-rumours/120921/qpr-loan-move-man-city-striker-unlikely-insists-hughes-18147?QPR POISED TO MAKE MOVE FOR JOHN GUIDETTI QPR look set to swoop in for a Man City whizzkid in January Thursday September 20,2012 By Daily Express reporter Have your say(0) QPR are poised to make a January move to sign on loan Manchester City whizzkid John Guidetti as a replacement for the injured Andy Johnson. Striker Johnson is out for 10 months after damaging cruciate knee ligaments last Saturday against Chelsea. Swede Guidetti, who scored 20 goals during 23 games on loan to Dutch club Feyenoord last term, has been hunted by a host of Premier League sides. If City block the move, QPR boss Mark Hughes may go for Roque Santa Cruz, on loan at Malaga from City, and whom he has worked with at both Blackburn and City. www.express.co.uk/posts/view/347109?"It is not to my knowledge that we have made contact." Did he really say that, is it an actual quote? More importantly, I don't see why we would advertise our interest at this time. Smacks a bit of the Buttner excitement and look what happened there.

Hopefully Not SKY QPR midfielder Shaun Derry is open to going out on loan to get first-team action Shaun Derry: Wants to be playing regularly after falling down pecking order at QPR QPR midfielder Shaun Derry has suggested he is willing to go out on loan in order to get regular playing time. The experienced 34-year-old is yet to start a Premier League game this season after falling down manager Mark Hughes' pecking order. Derry made 28 top-flight appearances last term as the Hoops sidestepped relegation but has now taken a backseat to the likes of Esteban Granero and Alejandro Faurlin. The midfielder, who arrived at Loftus Road from Crystal Palace in 2010, admits he may have to look elsewhere for first-team action. He told QPR podcast Open All Rs: "I need to be playing football and will try to play at some place." www1.skysports.com/football/news/11711/8113281/

Rovers reach an agreement with Queens Park Rangers over Junior. Blackburn Rovers are pleased to announce that an agreement has been reached with Queens Park Rangers in respect of compensation for David ‘Junior’ Hoilett. The initial fee is £3million, which could rise to £4million dependent upon Hoilett playing a defined number of games for the West London club. Furthermore, should the Canadian forward be sold by QPR, Rovers will be entitled to receive a percentage of any fee received by Rangers over and above what they have paid to Rovers. Reaching this agreement means that the compensation fee will not now need to be set by the Professional Football Compensation Committee. A product of Rovers’ Academy, Hoilett, 22, scored 14 goals in 92 appearances for the club, before joining QPR on a four-year deal in July. www.rovers.co.uk//news/article/hoilett-compensation-fee-agreed-394232.aspx?

Luis Boa Morte on trial at Portsmouth with Akos Buzsaky Former Arsenal, West Ham and Southampton forward Luis Boa Morte is on trial at League One Portsmouth. Boa Morte, 35, has 28 international caps for Portugal and had been playing Major League Soccer with Canadian side Toronto FC. West Ham paid £5m in 2007 for Boa Morte, who joins Hungarian midfielder Akos Buzsaky on trial at Fratton Park. Meanwhile, defender Josh Thompson suffered an ankle injury in training and could be out for six weeks. Pompey manager Michael Appleton also confirmed that striker Luke Rodgers is set for a lengthy lay-off. But Appleton, whose entire squad are on one-month deals, says he is hopeful of being able to sign at least two players on loan before Saturday's game. www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19747616

Blackpool Gazette Ollie: Stop talking about DJ By William Watt Published on Saturday 29 September 2012 10:26 IAN Holloway has asked supporters to stop worrying about DJ Campbell. Blackpool have been constantly linked with a move to bring the striker to Bloomfield Road for the fourth time. He has enjoyed two successful loan spells at the club as well as a permanent move during the Premier League season. Holloway revealed to The Gazette two weeks ago that he was hopeful a deal could be done with QPR to bring Campbell back. And the Pool boss says, although he would like it to happen, he’s sick of fans going on about it. “I have no information for you on DJ,” said Holloway. “I get on with coaching my players, that’s complicated enough. Only Karl Oyston knows where that situation is and I’m due to speak to Karl about it. “I’d ask our fans to concentrate on the players we have in our squad.” Supporters’ message boards and social networking sites have been full of talk about Campbell and Southend’s Ryan Hall’s proposed moves to Blackpool. But Holloway thinks people’s attention should be on the players they already have. He said: “We’ve some very talented players, so I don’t know why they are worrying too much about players we haven’t got. “People said, at the start of the year, that we weren’t going to score any goals, and that proved to be nonsense. “I know people want to know about DJ and will keep asking, but I’d just ask our fans to forget that and back the players we have got. “If we can bring him in, we will, but I can’t keep talking about other people’s players.” The Gazette understands Pool hope deals can still be done for both players, although they are in no rush to bring either player to the club. Blackpool face Cardiff today (kick-off 3pm) in a game which could see them move to the top of the Championship table. And after a week analysing Monday’s poor display against Huddersfield, Holloway says he’s delighted to finally have a chance to put things right. “Monday is forgotten now. That’s one game out of 46 that we didn’t win, so we have moved on from it,” he said. “The lads have been up for it this week, we’ve been through all the analysis of the game. “As far as I’m concerned, we have to get on with it. “We did enough wrong on Monday to not look like us. “That’s one game gone, as far as I’m concerned.” After today’s game, the Seasiders make the tough trip to Hull on Tuesday night. Two games could set the tone for the rest of the season, says Holloway. “We have Cardiff away and Hull City away, two very tough games,” he said. “We’ll know where we are after the next seven days, hopefully we’ll be in a good position.” www.blackpoolgazette.co.uk/sport/football/blackpool-fc/ollie-stop-talking-about-dj-1-4977079

I'm sure mac meant to put the confirmation of that on this thread. I obviously can't speak for MAC ;D But I assume MAC felt that it was understood that when an actual Transfer or Loan had gone through - either incoming or outgoing - then it was "Permissable" to start a thread re a Transfer having occurred
