From BBC Gossip: "Former Newcastle manager Sam Allardyce has rejected the chance to become the new manager at Queens Park Rangers. (Daily Express)
Of course just a tabloid! But he was one of the names in the summer that was mentioned when we chose Dowie. And can't see the logic of axing Dowie and bringing in Allardyce (if the story was true)
But if it's true: Must be working for Briatore that's the obstacle for Allardyce - and other serious manager. So either he'll change his involvement or we won't get what we need. (Not that what we need is necessarily Allardyce)

If it's true, this is great news. Who in their right mind would want Allardyce at our club, with the huge list of midfielders we have. All would become instantly redundant as Stewpeas pumped the ball up to Dex. I'd rather have Dowie back, frankly!
