We'll be better able to judge eight days from now... It's a little worrying...But until the window actually closes, not too fair to judge..

I reckon there will be a few surprises, just like Taiwo was.

Is Taiwo definitely confirmed as there is still nothing official to say so?

No he's is NOT Officially confirmed...And given everything, I'm not counting any chickens until the Club OFFICIALLY Confirms (and even then...!)

i think what we dont get this week we should forget because they are just greedy f...ing mercenaries holding out for greedy money. if so stick with what we got and with the new fitness regime and training i believe we are better than whats below us (just) they got more problems than we have. all the talk about the run in etc there aint no easy games anywhere not for anyone the weird results reflect that this season anyone can beat anyone else this season i believe even with our players we will be ok. traore and taarabt back will be like 2 new signings anyway. we should not be held to ransom.end of

Senegal and Morrocco both lost their opening fixtures, obviously a downer from Taraabt/Traore point of view but great news for R's fans.

This money thing is all crazy now. Without wishing to denigrate anybody, it has to be said that there are players around on obscenely huge salaries who, if they could not play football, would be hard put to get a job as a road sweeper. Also, many of the more violent ones (we can all name them) would be spending a large proportion of their lives sitting in a prison cell.

At least he could learn how to dress himself.

It's one of the major reasons why I dont care for football anymore. What are "Football Club's" anymore ? The agents, the "advisors", the players all do well out of it, the clubs get screwed, its like a legal form of money laundering, it is completely immoral & something I just feel I dont want to be a part of, plenty of cliches in my post I'm sure, but football especially in England really has lost its soul, dig a little deeper, "Football Club's" in England have just become vehicles for the likes of Gianni Paladini & Kia Joorabchian to do what they do, its a vile state of affairs, it really is & its not for me thank you very much.

Alex is now definitely off, been confirmed by SSN. Not surprised to be honest. If I had a choice of PSG or QPR I'm afraid to say it would have to be PSG.
Players we were linked with like Muntari and Zarate could still happen though.

Just waiting for 1 signing to be official. £30 million, I very much doubt it........

That's why finding lower division players who can make it - and for them, it's a financial (and career) step up

I dont for one minute think we will spend 30 , 20, or even 10 mill this month. and why was henrique offered a deal without anyone thinking of the work permit .........none of it feels right to me . Alex was NEVER coming here that was obvious , Samba was a waste of headlines , and as for Onouha well what a cop out . Something fishy ............................

do you think names just getting put about to make it look like we are trying when actually we are not.? stranger things have happened and to be honest with whats happening i would not be surprised. i reckon 1 more loan in and that is about what they wanted. Hope TF dont turn out like the dynamic duo that left a while back.

One or two questions might start to bubble up. But I truly don't think that we're not serious about buying. Or that we're not aware of what players cost in fees and wages. Certainly hope not. We'll know more in a week!

dont think so i am more than a bit suspicious now starting to smell like 6 months ago all over again. players names being shouted out just to shut everyone up to make it look good but then never were going to buy.
sound familiar.

well one thing for certain, they are struggling to get players to sign.
i believe the money is there, the effort/ambition is there, but....we can not deny that it will take a lot of money and effort to get WHO they want in.
at what point do they give up and chase the likes of maynard from championship clubs? assuming that they have not been snapped up by then.
even the loans seem to be not forthcoming, players we want are being held onto buy the parent club in anticipation of the run in, squad depth is crucial for them.

need to be offering these loan players a 'keep us up' bonus scheme like hughes imo. we need experienced pros in every single area of the park, and if we dont get them we are ruined i reckon. so if they come and do the job to keep us up, then give them a share of the spoils to entice them to want to take on the job.
