Our focus should be premiership and not the FA cup. I'll be honest I would rather MH put out a 2nd string side on Saturday. I don't want to risk any of our key players getting injured as I can see some of the s*** players wanting to take revenge on some of ours.
At the same time it will give an indication of how good or bad our fringe players are.
Actually bring in Shittu and tell him that Terry and Cashley have slept with his Missus. I wanna see them hurt real bad

I know you think the same way as me superckat We should of played a reserve team at MK in the first place then we could be concentrating on getting 3 points against Villa

Aint to fussed either way really !
Are we going to win it? probably not !
Do we want to beat Chelsea again ? Yes
Do we want any injuries before Villa ? No
Will it be good to give a run out to 2-3 signings we make this week getting them used to the rest of the team in a competitive match ? Yes
Would we want to play another London Derby at this time which could become very heated at times with the chance of a Red card ? No
I would play 3-4 players from the second 11 with the new players we sign this week, balance with first 11 !

Would you rather beat the s*** saturday and RISK premiership survival or lose on saturday and in the next premiership match if it GURANTEED survival in the Premiership? What say you all?

Not so long ago that Middlesborough made both cup finals and got relegated I'm sure that team would of stayed up without the cups

We looked a different team sat against wigan, confidence is a huge part of football.

Tickets are not selling very fast....still plenty left at 1330 hrs so it looks like many people are not bothered.. Had to work four extra night shifts to get this one day off (No leave left) Got my tickets and looking forward to game so yes I want the cup run against these t**ts. I hate these gits with a passion.

Just throwing this into the mix. Realistically the only way we could get into Europe now is by the ultimate Cup run.
If we get the players in that we need to guarantee we stay up then I would favour a Cup run.

Yes, I can see the pros and cons of this and I have always said I don't want a long cup run, mainly because of the danger of injuries. Still would like to see us beat the scum though (again) and can appreciate the Europe aspect.

The cup game against the prix from down the road will serve us well as a good training session, our players still need better fitness, and will give Hughes a chance to do a bit more tweeking, if necessary. I do agree though about playing Shittu, so he can flatten Terry a few times, that would be lovely.

I know it's all about the money, etc, but, we have a replica of the League Cup in our trophy cabinet and listed under honours, not some poxy, media driven Premier League (or division 1 as I like call it) 15th place finish.
And that's what we'll remember when times are hard again. Unless it's only me that's lived off having the FA Cup stolen by Spurs 29 (jesus!!) years ago.
Imagine going to Wembley via beating that foul lot!!

I'm sure I remember '82 being our centenary year although the omens weren't on our side at Wembley that year. Only coz Gregory changed it because of the cup final. Nobody really cared in those days but he was astute from a marketting perspective. We were formed in 1886 our shirt shows that but South Africa Road stand carries Gregory's legacy date.
