Amit_Bhatia99 Amit Bhatia So many moving parts to each deal that can only hope to conclude as soon as possible. I'm as keen as anyone to bring in sooner than later. 25 seconds ago Favorite Retweet Reply »
Amit_Bhatia99 Amit Bhatia I'm hopeful we'll bring in good players before the end of the window. Would have liked to bring in before Saturday but may not be possible. 3 minutes ago Favorite Retweet Reply » Amit_Bhatia99 Amit Bhatia
Have to balance our desire of bringing in players with what's realistic to pay for them. Rest assured everyone is working hard though.... 5 minutes ago Favorite Retweet Reply »
Amit_Bhatia99 Amit Bhatia Everyone is working hard behind the scenes to add quality and strength to the squad. Its difficult to do business this window but we at it..

No Amit, you have to balance 'desire of bringing players in' with how badly the board want to stay in this division. If you didn;t already know, you do now that you can forget paying realisitic prices for them in the January window.

good biz sense amit, dont be held to ransom. What constitutes "ransom" - Paying too much for a player or too high a wage? That's what happens when sign in Jan...But we keep being told DISASTER, if we're relegated.... So as others have said: It's a call they have to make...Having spent many millions by axing Warnock's team/hiring Hughes team

So as others have said: It's a call they have to make...Having spent many millions by axing Warnock's team/hiring Hughes team If Swansea or Norwich were down there, their expectations would been set according to the clubs 'desire' or financial ability to spend on 'good' players or better players. Our board keep telling us about their grand plans and how we will be challenging for the league title in ten years so they are setting expectations, had they told us we could not afford or were unwilling to spend 'big' and we had to make the best of pretty much what we have then we would have accepted that. We are afterall the smallest club in this division in many aspects.

I'd say it goes even further: Personally as a supporter, I can live with QPR being relegated. I have complete faith we'll come back. Maybe in a year. Maybe in a decade. But I don't want QPR screwed financially.... And the club with their big spending from Barton to HUghes, have put us out on a limb...And said we're in big trouble if we go down....So....

I think thats the same with every club though isnt it? You have to spend to stay up, but if you spend and dont stay up...... Its just a commercial decision and in commerce some win and some lose and some stay in the middle.

Fans urging signings/being impatient: That's the norm.
But it's a little more worrying when it's the owners suddenly apparently realizing things are not that easy...
I don't mind things being difficult. I expect that. Being turned down. But I would hope that this expectation or possibility was also held by the owners.

There are so many leagues in the world, so many class players discovered and undiscovered, do we not have a scouting system in place? I can't beleive the likes of rhodes never even got a look in, he's a goal machien so surely less of a risk than henrique? We should have backup plans for every player we've been after. We already know we had no backup plan if mark hughes had turned us down so I guess our owners don't think that far ahead! We're going to chase onouha, alex and henrique till deadline day and end up with nothing, or another load of panic buys with over inflated prices.

So you would want us to spend £6-7m on a unproven player??

If any of you were a potential Rangers signing and you watched that pile of rubbish tuesday, would you be rushing to sign? I think not, maybe thats the real reason.. Gulp...

The transfer window is better described as a transfer nightmare - clubs with players to sell delaying until they are sure they've got the price they want or until there are no other takers on the horizon, the players similarly holding out for the best option in terms of clubs and personal terms, meanwhile the buying clubs are trying to get the players they want at the best terms for them without getting screwed, but also have options in reserve in case they can't get the first options. Given that complex I'm surprised clubs get anyone. There must be a better way than this every six months. Question for consideration. I've no problem about Amit and Tony spending the club's money to ensure we stay up. But I do find it ironic that we're spending millions to stay up while Norwich and Swansea are only spending peanuts to stay safe in the top 10 places.

To be a little fair to Bhatia/Fernandes: They came in late in the game, so it's catch up (If they can/want to spend)
The Transfer windows they've established: This is one of the things that almost NO ONE in England Supports or that it benefits...Not managers...Not players...Not Fans..Not Big clubs... Not little clubs...Not the press...It's just bizarre. Giving in to European bureacracy.

Money talks in this game.
If you pay them they will come.
Plus, Hughes is a bigger draw than Warnock.
Lots of selling clubs like to do their business late in the window. I know its frustrating but we just have to be patient. The signings will come.
Just relax.
