Bump two years... Note they're just copying my "Zola" as replacement! And a Sentence to make one laugh at this sad time ".... Many fringe players have also been angered about being called in for extra afternoon training sessions..." QPR boss Neil Warnock fears he will get axed this month Jan 8 2012 by Dave Kidd, The PeopleNEIL WARNOCK fears he will be sacked as QPR manager this month. It is believed that Warnocks relationship with Rangers owner Tony Fernandes has reached breaking point after a run of just two points from their last eight Premier League matches. And only a late goal by Heidar Helguson saved them from FA Cup defeat by League One MK Dons yesterday. Fernandes has warned his manager that results must improve swiftly if he is to remain in the Loftus Road hotseat, with the club threatened by relegation. But there are concerns among Warnocks own backroom staff that he could be axed sooner rather than later.
Shock
Former West Ham chief Gianfranco Zola is a shock candidate to replace him, although ex-Manchester City and Fulham boss Mark Hughes will also be on QPRs radar. Warnock is believed to be unhappy that he does not have enough control over the clubs transfer policy.Bids have been tabled this week for Blackburn defender Chris Samba and Fulham striker Andy Johnson and Fernandes has denied he is holding back cash while Warnock is in charge. But Fernandes is aware that senior players have complaineds about Warnocks training sessions.
Skipper Joey Barton is no longer said to be on good terms with his manager.
Many fringe players have also been angered about being called in for extra afternoon training sessions.Warnock was expecting to be sacked by previous owner Flavio Briatore, even after guiding the Hoops to the Championship title last season, but was given a reprieve after the takeover by Fernandes in August. Warned Rangers started well in the Premier League but have not won since mid-November. And Fernandes even warned Warnock that his job could be under threat on twitter on Friday. Fernandes wrote: Its important to note no one job is safe. Results are key. If I dont deliver I would be the first to step down as chairman. We owe it to the fans. Good money is paid and results are key. I will leave no stone unturned to make QPR a success. Airline tycoon Fernandes launched an unsuccessful takeover bid for West Ham two years ago, when Zola was in charge at Upton Park. And ex-Chelsea great Zola is known to be on Fernandess wishlist. www.people.co.uk/sport/2012/01/08/qpr-boss-neil-warnock-fears-he-will-lose-job-this-month-102039-23687264/

From July 2011 when Fernandes was still re West Ham... Charles Sale/Daily Mail - July 11, 2011
Fernandes wanted to bring Zola back to Upton Park if West Ham bid had succeeded Grand Prix team owner Tony Fernandes was going to consider bringing back Gianfranco Zola as West Ham manager if his proposed takeover had succeeded. Airline tycoon Fernandes, who runs Team Lotus, had told West Ham not to appoint a manager while he was in negotiations to buy a controlling 51 per cent stake. Instead Fernandes’s offer was dismissed as derisory and Sam Allardyce chosen as boss — decisions that alienated the Malaysian, a lifelong Hammers fan. He called the Hammers high command of David Gold, David Sullivan and Karren Brady ‘not nice people to deal with to put it mildly’ and Allardyce ‘a tragic selection’. Fernandes said: ‘West Ham is all about a style of football which you won’t get with Allardyce. And I just can’t understand why Avram Grant was ever in charge. Zola is far more suited to managing the club. ‘There are not many teams with West Ham’s support and traditions. But the way I was treated by Brady in particular has put me off football. I’m concentrating on my F1 team now. I can build something here’. Unfortunately for Fernandes, both his cars were out of the race after 10 laps at the British Grand Prix. www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2013277/Gianfranco-Zola-wanted-Tony-Fernandes-West-Ham-Charles-Sale.html#ixzz1iovZjIYq

Stories from 'The People' and 'The Mail'.
Don't read tabloids, it makes your brain turn into semolina. The soggy stuff you got at school, not the cool stuff the middle classes have at dinner parties these days.

So you think the last month or so, the performances you've been watching have been symptomatic of a team prepared to run through walls for its manager, do you?

Only things I've heard.
But the eye test leads me to believe very strongly that he has lost, if not all of it then certain sections of it.
At the Norwich game Clint Hill was seen and heard screaming at the bench to make changes. Do you think that is the sign of a harmonious and united dressing room?

Funnily enough AVB, Owen Coyle and Kean are all more likely to be sacked according to that.

Does every other fan who thinks he's lost the dressing room have to physically implant themselves in the dressing room to be able to express that opinion? Or must they have special ITK contacts before they're allowed to voice that opinion? The fact that papers are now saying it is a good indication that he has. There is normally some smoke where there's fire. People watching us play have all said the team looks disinterested and the performances have gotten increasingly poorer In all your years of watching football does that strike you as being the sign of a healthy harmonious dressing room that's united in support of its manager?

AVB won't get sacked, but a lot of the senior players (Lamps, Terry, Malouda, Drogs) don't like him. Chelsea will need to do a big spring clean in the summer
