Non-sensical thread, I'm afraid guys. Colin is here to stay and Tony knows this. We just have to face facts that the premiership is a tough league. Did we not all realise this?

I want Warnock to stay. But I'm beginning to think that he won't be much longer at all. If I had to bet. Gone real soon... The Fernandes Tweets...The Tabloids... It would be dead simple for Fernandes to categorically say: Warnock is here.

Ok so let's swap it round, who would you want to replace Neil?
I would have Hughes, Di Canio, that Huddersfield bloke, Chris Powell, Solskjaer

Dont see this as a positive post, sorry Mac!! We cannot control who the manager is but can suggest to Tony who we buy. This is a lot more than most clubs!!

I think the biggest mistake we could make would be hiring some manager because he had one or two years success at one club... So many managers do that...And then, nothing... Meanwhile one suggestion from The Fascist...Manager Guardian Sport Football Swindon Paolo Di Canio wants plaque after Swindon Town shock Wigan in FA Cup • FA Cup victory should be remembered, says Di Canio • Manager would like Manchester United in fourth round reddit this Paul Doyle at the County Ground guardian.co.uk, Saturday 7 January 2012 16.23 EST Article history Paolo di Canio saw his Swindon Town side beat Premier League team Wigan Athletic in the FA Cup third round. Photograph: Steven Paston/Action Images Paolo Di Canio called for a memorial to be erected to his Swindon Town players after the League Two team pulled off the shock of third-round day with a 2–1 FA Cup win over Premier League strugglers Wigan Athletic. "The lads deserve for the club to do something special and put their names on the stadium," said the Italian, whose team fell behind in the first half to a goal from Callum McManaman before overturning that deficit through strikes from Alan Connell and Paul Benson. "I know that normally you only do this when you win something big and I'm not necessarily saying [to put up] a statue, but even something small like a plaque with all their names because they have done something special. Even if I go on to become a Premier League manager and they go on to become Premier League players, this is to be remembered." Wigan may have fielded a weaker side but beating a side 53 places further up the pyramid is still a fine feat. Di Canio said that while he is ambitious, he is in no hurry to leave. "Of course I want to manage in the Premier League just like the players want to play in the Premier League but why can't I achieve that with my club, with the plan that we have here?" He hopes today's fourth-round draw will send him back to Old Trafford, where he famously scored the winner for West Ham in this competition 11 years ago. "I hope we go to Manchester United, and then we can dream again." www.guardian.co.uk/football/2012/jan/07/paolo-di-canio-swindon-town

Clark Rory .
Its out of our hands Geoff by the time we play Newcastle we will either had a statement from TF saying he backs or vote of confidence or NW saying his concerned , the only way NW gets out of this is by winning games , sad but true .
Hopefully he has time to win a couple of games sharpish !

I do not want Hughes, I do not like him, as a player and a manager. Too big for his boots as a manager and the previous discussion on another thread demonstrated fully his "managerial abilities".
I personally dislike him intensely for trying to break Paul Parker's leg and for cheating to get Macca sent off.
Yes, I do carry a grudge on odd occasions!
