Seriously he's just been interviewed and all he talked about for about 10 minutes was barton and the farsical red card...which I am in full agreement with him on it is shocking BUT drop it now, its over, we have much bigger issues to worry about. Why isn't he out or on the phone to players we need to sign? maybe the reports were true and he's been blocked from spending and now that is all he has got to talk about?! Hope not. Seeing him sat talking about that really put me down as i've had SSN on all day hoping for breaking news about a transfer which doesn't look like its going to happen today now!  On a positive note listening to macheda i think he is really going to try hard to prove himself for us and maybe, just maybe he could be the answer to our goal scoring problems. Now how about a cheeky bid for tomkins from west ham seeing as newcastles was rejected? get off sky and on the blower neil! |

What else is there to talk about though?? You can't expect a manager to tell all the press and everyone watching exactly who we are in talks with and who looks like signing. He had his press conference today, like we have every Thursday. 10 minutes won't make the slightest difference in our transfer plans and I really don't think his interview today is bad at all. Don't you think he will be talking to agents and clubs right now and before the press meeting?

jj - Warnock keeps going on about Joey because his whole game tactic revolves around Joey ie Joey takes all the corners, freekicks and every attack must start with Joey... ; )

Barton sending off/suspension was very harsh. But he's gotten away with stuff in the past. It happens. We suffer. Over time, it basically evens out. One could say that it seems we were extremely lucky/extremely skillfully defended over Faurlin...Could have gotten a very different sentence.
Now we have to move on and deal with it. And Warnock and Barton kvetching away does absolutely nothing - and if not careful will just lead to more punishment of Barton/Warnock.

If the same thing had happened to Rooney, don't you think Alex Ferguson would still be talking about it?? Yes he would be.
It seems the 'anti-warnock' will pick holes in everything even when it is unnecessary.
Warnock has done nothing wrong in that presser.

I'm not anti warnock at all! I really like the guy and want him to succeed with us, I just think its time to move on because he's just whining now and probably making us look stupid. It's over, the fa are idiots, and norwich are scum... get on with it.

And as for what else to talk about..Id rather he spent his time reassuring us fans about us staying up and transfers coming In, dismissing the star story too...anything positive is what's needed now not harping on about how disgraceful the red card is.

we are down and out in this league, his transfer money has supposed to be taken away from him (good thing)
and he has been proved time and time again that he is inept in this divison. so would will you do to distract the media,........ talk for ten minuets about joey barton.

That is so true, he needs to let things drop, we could have still easily gone on to win that game but he was all over the place and that doesn't help the players on the pitch one bit! I say again I really like him but I'm really concerned by how he's acting these days, he needs to really sort something out instead of saying how great he thinks we played and that we were the better team...look at the points Neil, we're not playing well and we could be bottom after the next match. |

I think they are preparing to go down. As Cash said (the Imp) going up could be the worst thing that happens to us. Christ he may have been 80 and still is, and a tight wadded sob, but a more astute businessman you probably wont find.

'EEE I'm just glad to be here me.We're having a whale of a time just being here' True, he does normally spend most his pre-match talks bigging up the opposition, then saying we were the better team and he cant fault the lads efforts they were great out there...having lost 6-0 to foolham etc ;D ANyway I am going to stop (or try to stop) being so impatient (he says sat here anxiously watching SSN again lol) ....what will be will be, i'd rather make some quality signings than rush in and grab any old rubbish...in NW we trust! (assuming he has funds!!) |
