Well, are they? When the two Monkey Bastards finally buggered off, we were left with less than a week to produce a squad capable of surviving in the Premiership. And here we are, halfway there, just about hanging in there. Will we survive with the current squad? Probably not. Will we survive if we buy/loan wisely? That depends on Warnock using all of his nous and years of experience. Does he deserve the opportunity? Yes, I believe he does. It ain't over until it's over.
And let's remember people.................... If the ingredients used are shite........how can you expect to produce a decent roast dinner? (granted, I've had a drink)

I really dont think things are as bad as people are making out on here.
If things are the same in 1 months time, then people can talk about relegation & all of the other stuff people have been posting, but its not that bad.........yet.

The fans need to dig deep and continue to support and I stand alongside men like Zico and others of his ilk . And that makes me proud and lucky to count my-self as a Ranger.

If things are the same in 1 months time, then people can talk about relegation & all of the other stuff people have been posting, but its not that bad.........yet. It's the massive slump in form that is worrying, if we hadn't had that short spell of doing ok, we'd be rock bottom and out of touch...obviously the same could be said about anyone but the teams around us are starting to pick up points and we're not, especially worrying in games like yesterday against awful teams like norwich, at home, we just simply cannot lose games like that and expect to stay up! 2 points in 8 matches is all we need to look at to know we're in trouble. Warnock needs to get in a new GK, CB and striker (whether macheda will solve that last one i dont know yet!)

Yes "we've" made mistakes...But so many games, we could have picked up points. Including yesterday. That was Warnock's QPR...

Ambrose won't be signing. Also I really can't believe you would say no to Alex. Who do you honestly think we can sign in that position that is better?? And for £2m that is bargain of the transfer window.

I just think fans had hoped that with SWP, barton etc arriving in, it would give the squad some steel. Sadly, I think they have shown that they are football mercenaries rather than wanting the best or to do their best for QPR. Traore, Young - they have done well enough, Ferdinand too. Gabbidon sadly wants to go to Cardiff so let it happen.
You all know I think the headless chicken is just that. I agree with KLR, he's flattered to deceive. Young puts in better crosses and Traore. Barton on current form whether you like him or not is not worth more than 30k per week on form so far. The twitter bullshit etc distracts from his effort. there is no doubt he & the headless chicken have some skill but it looks like they are saving it for someone else.
Taarabt in the last few games has tried a few party tricks that haven't worked. I put that down to lack of games. But he looks interested. He's even tracked back. I'm still hoping he will rediscover last seasons form. His biggest problem is between his ears and the freeloaders that are supposedly looking after his "best interests".

Who's fault is it? Well as far as I can tell it's not about fault, it's about facts. Regardless of what anyone makes of team selection and tactics. He had less than a week to try and fashion a squad capable of competing/staying in this division. That was always going to be a tall order surely? As for his signings during the transfer window......... It's right that he should be judged on them, and ultimately he'll sink or swim on this round of signings. I hear lot's of players names being mentioned, some good, some bad, but unless I'm missing something, the only one we've signed is the lad from Salford. Of course I hope that the next few additions, along with some of our better players ensure that we survive. If we changed Managers now, whoever we bought in would have a ready made excuse.....'it's not my squad....I didn't have time to identify transfer targets' etc Between now and the end of the season, Warnock will be out thought by a few Managers, and the team will be out played and out fought by a few teams. We'll win a few, draw a few, and lose a few. But success or failure this season can be defined by 4'th from bottom, or 3rd from bottom, and Warnock must be well aware of that. So I wish him and us all the luck in the world, and hopefully we'll have enough to stay up.

And by the end of the season, Agyemang, Vine, Borrowdale and a number of otehrs will FINALLY have exited QPR, giving us a clean slate

Yes, they are bad.
But I can see that they can improve.
And I am confident that they will.
We have the best team, manager and owners for many, many years - and the team is likely to be improved in the next few weeks.
So never mind half full, my glass is three quarters full...

Well said Zico.
This end of the world attitude shown by so many is a load of boswollox.
As I said before, half the season gone, we beat Chels*** and we're 17th. Do the same again and it will have been an excellent season.

I agree Zed. We got to January and not be in the bottom 3. Transfer window open and a chance to strengthen the squad and every prospect of ending theh season in at least as good a position. In my book, that's a pass markso far for the manager and team.
Come on guys and girls, keep the faith! UUUUURRRRRS!

We cannot rely on other teams to falter. We must get results, and quickly.
We must drive through their ranks with passion, until their nets bulge with our ambition.
We cannot retreat. Players that fall and fear the enemy will be replaced and sent packing.
New fresh troops will be commanded to win and develop the Blue and White Pride of ambition.
The flag of Rodney, Sir Les, Reg, and George Goddard will be waved around the stands. When
a player is replaced he will hand the flag to his replacement, who will tuck it into his shorts.
We will be secure.

Regarding any if there are any, signings. I hope for once trhe club gets them now and not wait until the last day of the window. In the meanwhile we could well be losing games instead of winning them.

I was hoping for at least 1 more before Saturday.

Great OP. We've had so many downs in the last 15 years and this club and this team are defined by much more than the last 8 games. For the first time in a while I can actually say I am proud to support QPR. The Chinese Olympic scandal, the guns in the boardroom, the multiple hirings and firings as well as the league position for so many years were bad bad days for QPR and it wasn't easy to say I support QPR.
Now we've got a passionate owner who quickly showed he meant business and we're fighting. We're not rolling over and being thumped by all and sundry. 1-0 losses and 2-1 defeats are hard to take but far better than 6-1 or 8-2 thrashing that we've seen involve Man Utd this season. I'd rather be we're we are now than say where we were 2 years ago or even 12 months ago.

I think a lot of fans just wish to see a bit more pride and "fight" from the players and the QPR badge, ethos of the past. Some are currently giving the appearance of just wanting to collect a pay cheque.
Hence all the frustrations left on this MB in the last few days. I look at it, one month of Joey barton's wages and I'd have a house, a car and be debt free and I'd appreciate it, not take it for granted.
