At the last, I hope we can keep hold of him until the summer.
Although I've coated him off loads of times in the past, I like him, I think he can do well for us this season, I think we need him right now & I think he does genuinely like the club, I hope it ends well. It would be sad for all parties if it ended badly, if he had a little think about it & showed some maturity I think he would realise that he could be on to something good at QPR & its a good platform / stage for him to show off his "talents" It would be very sad for football to lose another talented player to oil money because of what the people around him are saying in his ear.

He's the only player who tries to play passes through the middle when we have a break rather than passing it wide where we end up allowing time for opposition defence to get back and then we end up passing the ball backwards past the half way line and losing our chance.
I say hang onto him for the rest of the season. If he continues to play like he has his price will only go up.

I hope we keep him...If we sell him, hope it's for an awful lot of money (given that we only keep half)

I hope we keep him now. He is the only player we have who looks even close to creating something going forward. He can make something out of nothing.

Guys - one thing to consider is the African Nations Cup that starts in a couple of weeks time - and AT is part of the Moroccan team.
Now Morocco is one of those enigmatic countries that is capable of winning the tournament as they are capable of losing all 3 games. However this time around traditional powerhouses such as Egypt, Nigeria and Cameroon have failed to make it to this version, so Morocco do have an excellent chance of getting as far as the semi's and, at least, the 3/rd & 4th play-off. So he could be there for the long haul.
In addition this tournament is being held in the Central / West African nations of Gabon & Equatorial Guinea - corrupt, not easily accessible by direct travelling with lots of kilometres (mainly over the gulf of Guinea) to get from one country (actually 2 as EG consists of an island miles away from it's African mainland section) to the other country and both with an infrastructure set-up that is very dodgy.
In short I would imagine that no club will be rushing out for his services while this tournament is on - and if they do it might decrease his value (which truth be said has already dwindled in value).
Therefore I wouldn't be surprised if he stays on until at least the end of the season.

Problem is that when it is time to come back after the tournament he could lose his passport.

Wont make a scrap of difference. Damage already done, diddle daddling around with an infant who thinks hes superman for half
a season has taken up all their interest. This then will continue in full force while we get flushed thru
to the place we came from. He is an unfinished work. He needs an individual sport like Tennis, not a team sport. Hes not interested in team sports. Driving through the opposition and scoring, alone. Trying to live out a fantasy.

If I was Taarabt I'd go like a shot, anywhere, after the way he's been treated. Best footballer by a country mile and we drop him, carpet him and allow others to coat him off in public, diabolical.
For me, personally, he has to play as he's the one player capable of doing something that isn't boringly predictable crap.
I find it bloody peculiar rhar our two best outfield players last season have been picked on during this one, at least Faurlin hasn't been dropped though.
