For those slating SWP for nearly scoring an OG .If he didnt get to that ball it was a cert goal anyway. SWP was all over the pitch today tracking back .last ditch defending .I thought he done ok .Ok he had a couple of wayward shots but at that time no one was having a go .Mackie was CRAP .. And Smith should never start for us again..

Smith is quite simply not good enough. Would rather see Bruno Andrade on the bench.

SWP did OK for us today, but if you want my honest opinion, then having a winger that cant cross is about as useful as a hole in the head, probably a little bit unfair on SWP, Traore is a slightly more progressive player IMO & he can cross, tactics were a little strange today, but not entirely unsuccessful, a limited performance & not too much to get excited about, dunno why people are going OTT

nothing to do with losing a very respectable 1-0 at anfield, its the way the other two who came up with us are showing the desire and drive to stay up that is the worrying thing. cos whatever anyone says, we aint.

still not as many excuses as positions that swp has been told to play in this season. today alone warnock put him in 3 different positions. the man has not got a clue. I suppose the fact that he cant cross, pass or shoot might be a factor in that. Ouch! thats my negative comment for the thread, I guess SWP has done quite well for us, he is quite dangerous & expansive, but really lets be brutally honest, he is without a doubt one of the top ten "headless chickens" in The Premier League for sure. He might be in the top ten but the numero uno .the top man is a certain James Mackie. No sorry hes worse than a headless chicken he's more like a Cart Horse with a lit French Banger up his arse...

Disappointed at some of the reactions on here. Survival won't be won or lost away from home against the top teams.

Q.P.R boss Neil Warnock on his side's 1-0 defeat at Liverpool:
"We were superb. Luis Suarez was magnificent and it was appropriate the best player on the pitch scored - we lost him, but that is what good players do. We never really tested Pepe Reina but I couldn't fault anyone, and to have them biting their nails in the last 10 minutes was testament to the team. Radek Cerny is a top professional. He didn't deserve to be on the losing side."

My comment, we were far from superb. The only way we could have scored a goal today was if we had
started DJ Campbell. Only after he came on did we look like we had any shape or teamwork.
Liverpool fans were telling me how good he is. He looked good to me also. By the way, Bothroyd trip
was a penalty.

I'd say calling Warnock "inept" is incredibly harsh. Like any manager, he has his pluses and minuses. And he's not the greatest manager in the world. But I'd strongly suggest our best chance of staying up this season is WITH Neil Warnock....
Oh. But I would urge those disagreeing with Hitman (which includes myself) to keep to the "spirit" of this board in how you express your disagreement with him. Thanks

no points this month with the inept warnock in charge. he is all heart and passion but like on previous occasions, he does not have the tactical ability of this division. with him at the helm we are as good as DOWN. Fernandez would be crazy to give him another 15 mil to spend in january. much like tarrabt, thankyou for last season warnock but you cant hack it in this divison. Warnocks dead wood & the rots setting in. I was very suspicious of his ability at the start of the season & was shot down for my views. We'll be lucky to stay up unless we get a better manager in January.

I'd also add: There is only one reason that we're in the Premiership this season. And that's Neil Warnock. Not Gianni, or Flavio, or Adel, or Derry or anyone else. Warnock. So he deserves a chance. And as I said, I think our best chance is by sticking with Warnock.

I agree with 'Floridar', Warnock just doesn't have what it takes to compete in the Prem! He's a nice man but very limited in formations and tactics! Smith, Bothroyd & Mackie wouldn't even make the bench in any other side in the Prem! SWP is played out of position most of the time, but apart from his great dribbling he'll 'sky' the ball even if it's on the oppositions goal line, that's why he was never a regular anywhere else!

Besides things move far to fast in the Premier league and hopefully Tonys very quick when he see's things happening thats going to affect his pocket.

Good point about Swp. Warnock thinks that Barton is free role type of player ! but his positional sense is awful & lacks any real skill.

To all those saying Sir Neil isn't good enough, which manager that we could attract to the club could do a better job than Warnock?

Adding of course, which better players within our budge are we going to be able to get/attract? Crouch/Parker preferred elsewhere....

I'm absolutely stunned at some of the comments (and in some cases vitriole) being aimed at Warnock in this thread. Did I fall asleep and we're suddenly bottom of the table? We're into December and we're 13th, to say we can't get more than a point against Sunderland, Norwich and Swansea is quite ridiculous. Yes, Swansea & Norwich got good results today but they've had their poor performances this season and will have many more.
As for trotting out the same excuses regarding what Warnock had to work with at the start of the season, well it's true. The other clubs were able to buy and plan from the moment promotion was acheived, Warnock had to do it all after the new season had started! Saying that people are trotting out the same old excuses doesn't make them any less valid, just seems a way to avoid acknowledging them.
As for SWP, he will come good I'm sure. I've seen him put some very good crosses in this season, it just seems that some have bought into the "SWP can't cross" ethos and don't seem to be able to remember them. He scored an excellent goal last week, not his fault the linesman had a nervous twitch in his flag raising arm.
