Thought Smith was playing OK ... Mhavn't seen Mackie involved hardly at all though. Jay needs some more support

Watching the game down here and to be honest it ha sbeen all Liverppol - something like 11 corners to 1 - 11 plus shots at goal to 2 or 3 and possession probably in the region of 60% plus. And yet for all of that possession Cerny has only had to make 3 or saves - one a very good effort indeed.
at the moment I can see why Liverppol are making no progress in the title race - good results at Arsenal and Chelsea not withstanding.
I believe HH is ill, I heard that Taarabt may be ill (although I doubt that), but to be fair to TS replacing him won't make a difference up front unless we start getting a bit more possession and improve our effort in the midfield. Right now we are being totally overrun in this arewa.
Still it's 0-0 and on balance of play we can't really complain about that scoreline.
