Hi All. having read Gramps book I was curious about the history of Jimmy Andrews at QPR & where he might now be. I come from the same town as Jimmy in the Scottish Highlands (Invergordon). I knew him when he lived there but he was older than me and I knew his sister better (no not that well). I came to live in Shepherds Bush in 1964 and I can remember visiting Jimmy in his office at Loftus Road. My memory tells me that he was at that time the Manager of the club but he does not appear on Gramps list of former managers. Can anyone tell me a bit more about Jimmy,s time at the club? By the way saturday was very disappointing as we should have bagged 3 points. I fail to understand how we could be so fantastic against Man City a much better team than WBA but on saturday we let them play.

Highland Bill has raised this query with me in a PM and I have been able to give him some basic info about Jimmy but not a lot. He was club coach in the 60s under Alec Stock but I am not aware whether or not he is still alive or when he left us. If he is still alive, he will be 85 on February 1st. I have bumped this one as there appears to have been no answer to the original query from Bill unless, as usual, I am missing something.
