I thought it shut at the end of the month which would be logical. According to Oldham site "...The window shuts tomorrow at 5pm for emergency loan signings and reopens on January 1st for the whole month when loan and permanent transfers are permitted." www.oldhamathletic.co.uk/page/NewsUpdate/0,,10337~2524861,00.html

Confirming: Yes it is tomorrow BBC Football transfers - November 2011 The transfer window is now closed for permanent signings, and will reopen on 1 January. In the Football League, loan deals are allowed once a week has passed following the closing of the window until the fourth Thursday in November (24 November this season). Clubs may also apply to their governing body (eg the Premier League) for special dispensation to sign a player on loan if, for example, they had no goalkeepers available. Players who are out of contract and do not have a club, can be signed outside of the transfer window if they were unattached free agents when the previous window closed. The transfer window does not apply to clubs below Blue Square Bet Premier level. newsvote.bbc.co.uk/sport2/hi/football/15556893.stm

Paul Warburton/Gazette QPR stars suffer loans blow QPR boss Neil Warnock claims there is no-one in the Football League with money ready to borrow his spare players before the loan transfer deadline closes on Friday. That will come as a bitter blow for Rob Hulse, Patrick Agyemang and a number of others in Hoops kicking their heels on the fringes of the team. Lee Cook looks set to be the only one of those left out of the 25-man squad to get a temporary club when the winger joins Orient on a one-month deal. But in keeping with common practice, Warnock wants a loan fee for any of the rest, but as of last night there were no takers. “I don’t expect anyone else to go out other than the ones like Hogan (Ephraim) who have already gone,” said the manager. “As far as I can tell, there’s no money out there, and our lads will have to stay where they are for the time being.” Follow us on Facebook and Twitter for the latest QPR news. www.ealinggazette.co.uk/sport/qpr-ealing/2011/11/23/qpr-stars-suffer-loans-blow-64767-29826908/

I still rekon a few will go out most probably hulse moen and shittu then maybe when it closes and we have not got rid of the likes of vine and aggy we may see the club just cut its losses and pay them off. Those 2 in particular have had enough loan periods to show they are not gonna do enough elsewhere to persaude a club to give them a contract so we might as well just get shot now. The only plus is other than hulse borrowdale and moen most of them only have deals untill the end of the season

I think we already tried the pay you off for Vine and it never worked , thought he wanted to much . Cant see any more payoffs now , Some might go in Jan Permanently and the rest will depart May/June and Warnock will be in a position in that all the players bar about three are his players he selected . Cerny wasnt , Faurlin wasnt and Connolly wasnt but cant think of many others after Next Summer.(not including the youngsters )
