Personally I think £4m is a good price for Zamora. He will hold the ball up very well for Cisse to use his pace and run through.
I can't see us doing any last minute deals as the manager and squad will be in Birmingham tonight.

Didn't realise we could get Zamora for free in the summer. £4million seems far too high.

how totally ridiculous having a full premiership programme on the nioght and the night after of the transfer window deadline. needs abolishing. 25 man squad, buy someone whenever you want, but you have to sell one of the 25 to make way.

Didn't realise we could get Zamora for free in the summer. £4million seems far too high. i thought so, then i read this: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bobby_ZamoraOn 10 September 2010, Zamora signed a new four year contract with Fulham, which will keep him at the London club until the summer of 2014....and this: On the 31st of January Bobby Zamora moved to fulham's rivals QPR on a reported salary of 90 mars bars a goal. It is safe to say that QPR will not have to give him any mars bars as Zamora is known as the worst striker to ever play for England.

QPR seal Cisse signing as Zamora's £8m deal nears completion By Sportsmail Reporter Last updated at 3:59 PM on 31st January 2012 Comments (0) Share Former Liverpool striker Djibril Cisse has completed a £4million move to QPR from Italian side Lazio. The France international, 30, agreed personal terms on Monday and signed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Loftus Road club. Once the former Lord of the Manor of Frodsham had completed the formalities the following day, the deal was confirmed. Done deal: Djibril Cisse at QPR Cisse, who is eligible to make his QPR debut against Aston Villa on Wednesday subject to international clearance, revealed his desire to work for Hughes was a big factor in his move to west London. 'QPR have a hugely ambitious project,' he told the club's official website. 'When I talked to the manager, he spoke highly of the Club and where he wants to take it over the next few years. He wanted to sign me at Manchester City and now I am finally here with him at QPR. 'He wants to achieve big things here - that was all I needed to hear from him.' Making a mark: Cisse is looking forward to working under Hughes Cisse, who spent three season in the Premier League at Liverpool and Sunderland, added: 'I have unfinished business here in England. 'The English league is the best in the world. It is the league that suits me the most. 'I'm really happy to be here and I can't wait to repay the club's confidence in me, to get back to where I want to be as a player. 'I will always give one hundred per cent and I can't wait to start playing games.' Deadline deal: Djibril Cisse has signed for £4m Cisse is expected to be joined at QPR by Fulham striker Bobby Zamora after the two clubs agreed a fee in the region of £8million. Zamora is understood to be close to agreeing terms with QPR after Fulham have the green light for the move once their swoop for Russian striker Pavel Pogrebnyak moved a step closer. Am I reading to much into Connolly going....does that mean we've got a CB coming or is that just offsetting Onuoha?

That's a shame... Want Zamora signed and sealed Want Blackburn to give us our defender And of course want Tevez ANy more than those three (or their functional equivalenys) would be greedy! Tevez, Zamora and Samba is already extemely greedy Mac! ;D Honestly, for me, 90% of the job is done. Everything we do from now on is bonus! Our squad: KENNY
YOUNG - FERDINAND - ONUOHA - TAIWO
SWP - DIAKITE - BARTON - TRAORE
CISSE - HELGUSON That's already a wonderful squad IMO. Why not one more striker, or a winger, or a creative midfilder? You always can improve, and we could still seal one or two deals, but let's not be too gready... Look at our squad, and look at Norwich's or Bolton's. If we don't stay up with that squad, what do we need? Good job from Mark Hughes, and if we sign one more player, then fantastic, but we have no need to invest £15 more millions right now.

if we get Zamora i would call it a day with Pienaar if Harry plays ball! Not worried if Kean wants a player on hids books thats not happy , we are experts on that ! Tevez well , not sure what will happen with him now but guess Cisse and Zamora should do the job and if Zamora fails we put in a last min deal to tie up Tevez on loan .

philmcnulty So with Djibril Cisse done and Bobby Zamora set to join him at QPR - where does this leave Macheda? Bit of a blow for him. #bbcfootball
qprjohny @philmcnulty don't care about macheda. what about helguson? 8 goals in half a season, and he'll prob get subs bench. #madness #qpr
