Zamora is hardly going to cure our goal scoring problem but he's an average-to-good player and with someone else like cisse we may well find goals easier to come by!

Hes an england international and we know what we are getting. Oh and he can speak english!!! Agree. I hope he does sign I think he is a good player and will give his all for us. Hope his memory doesn't stretch back to when he played for Brighton!   |

Zamora, is a similar, and slightly better player than Bothroyd. I don't see the point in signing him.

Zamora, is a similar, and slightly better player than Bothroyd. I don't see the point in signing him. Tend to agree, but I think we did need to sign 2 strikers, cisse and zamora together, or covering for each other, with helgs too, at least it'll mean no more possibilities of hulse playing!! |

A journalist on Twitter reckons the deal is not straight forward and Zamora wants more than what we are willing to pay.

Yeah I agree eskey, he's not worth that much. If we are going to spend £8m on a striker I would rather we went for Gary Hooper.
