we done great with this formation, it was only when tarrabt was brought off that warnock changed back to the crappy 5 across midfield which allowed a 9man chelsea a few chances.
with 4-4-2 we were balanced, attacking from the flanks, hustling in the middle and everyone knew their role.
lets keep it that way warnock.
btw, clint hill had a superb day along with swp who was tracking back to support.
nice to see barton back too.

SWP wasn't a second striker, he was helping out in defence, on the left side, he was left wing, mate.

Barton was right wing, derry, Faurlin adel in the middle
SWP left wing.

adel was upfront playing just behind hh swp left and barton right.

okay, maybe, I still think adel was very deep to be called a striker, I see your point. The time we were 4-4-2 was when Tommy joined HH in attack so we could press higher, that was 4-4-2, when Tommy came on .
