Disappointed by the calibre of refereeing in this league. Thought it would be better. Glad to see Heidar in the air so much and to get a goal. We got a point. Disappointed by Warnocks continuous harangueing of oficials. It cannot help us. He also looks different to me, puzzled would be the closest I can come up with. We did get a point in a match we could have lost easily.
I see an aimlessness about their play. No passing and maneuvering as we saw in the first few matches.
I found it painful to watch.
Thanks Gramps for your up close and personal.

A little too much hoof ball at the moment for me . Played some good football in the Newcastle and Villa games , was really proud of the performances , ok we didnt run all the Villa game but still did enough to win it . Last two games have been very poor in most departments. Causes ? Who knows , Warnocks tactics ? All this unrest with one player talking about another cant help , defence injuries didnt help , lack of real quality firepower . Maybe a bit of all the above who knows? A season has ups and downs and after last season we are not used to many downs , im ok losing if i see signs of decent football or we get stuck in , like the first game season we outplayed Bolton for 45 minutes even though we caved in .so be it . Not many positives from the last two games , sorry.

look, we win against Chelsea or Spurs, we are all happy again... lets be honest, if we thought we did not have a chance against them, we would not be true supporters.. keep the faith, we are not bottom of the pile, things are just not running too smoothly for us right now.. but they will......

The big negative was us - the fans - I was among those to blame for gertting too frustrated; worst atmosphere for ages. Got to stop and Don't Panic!
Let's accept we're going to take a kicking until Xmas and get behind the team

Let's accept we're going to take a kicking until Xmas and get behind the team why do you think it's going to all change at xmas? signings? we are not playing as a team , that is the reason we are not performing at a optimum, and signings are not going to change that. stop kidding yourself that every thing will be rosy when TF 'splashes the cash' come jan. we have enough in our squad to do better then we are doing now. agree with you on getting behind the team, as long as they perform as a team.

Plus, what maude said.

30 more draws, or 10 wins, or 5 wins and 15 draws, or 7 wins and 9 draws ,or 2 wins and 24 draws, or 9 wins and 3 draws, or 3 wins and 21 draws.
and that is not including games we lose.
just win when we should,
a point is usless if we need two more , but a point is more than zero.
we should be winning these games at home , not relying on fluke results away, or against the top.

I have no doubt that in the next 27 games we will get 30 points. There is no 'should' or 'could' or 'deserve' in sport. Shoulda Woulda Coulda doesn't apply in life, much less sport.

One thing I did forget to mention is that we seemed to spend so much time ballooning the ball speculatively in the air rather than keeping it on the ground a bit more. The big boys will punish us for that.

my point is it could have been worse we might be better away than at home. How on earth we beat Everton (Tommy Smith) I don't know. Sorry to pontificate, but I am looking at this from a great distance. All I see is that we are tenth when we could have been 20th. Hoof the ball, draw every single game, I don't care. If we lose, we lose confidence.

i do not want to end up like stoke , wba , blaclburn etc etcetc, f*ck that, we play football, and i fear we are losing it for the sake of the prem.
rather give it up if thats what we are thinking to survive.
prem is not good at all, lets enjoy it but not sacrifice.

Ahahaha! Look against Chelsea you must park the bus and pray to God that Kenny plays well. That is why Stoke survived and Blackpool did not. Same against Spurs and Man. U. Be like Uruguay. Play anti-football, then the last 20 mins go for it. Smash and grab.

enjoy, not park buses, good for stoke bad for blackpool . we are neither of those teams so please stop comparing mr buffalo, i know you have QPR interest in your heart but do not worry about how we beat chelsea or mancs, worry about how we are as a team, players ,manangment , staff, future.
we will do well this season if players gel.
buses belong to bus stations

I havent had time to read all the threads so apologise if I am repeating what has been said elsewhere.
Having reflected on our performance I feel disappointed that we have reverted to the long ball game. We also gave far to many set peices away. Obviously a great shame for DJ Campbell and would have liked to see him in a full match pairing with either Bothroyd or Helgusson.
I thought Barton and Faurlin had better games but I worry about Shaun Derry when it is a warm day, he seems to struggle. Traore was positive and although Ferdinand scuffed one he also made a goal line clearance. We still had a few occasions where we looked at sea in defence.
Now we have Campbell out, like others my grave concern is who is going to get the goals we so badly lack. On his half an hour showing Taraabt looks like he is lacking in the confidence he requires to shine and whilst I agree with a lot of what Barton says, I doubt going public with it can do us much good? Luke Young has looked stretched in the last two games.
In conclusion we have to remember that it was a big game for Blackburn too, we didn't lose and we only conceded once. We need that team spirit back that seemed so apparent after the Wolves game and that starts with Warnock who seems to be moaning about just about everything there is to moan about right now?

If we score, they attack, if we don't score, they also attack, and all that means means we just counter. Way I see it, it's a win win situation. We counter and score. Let them attack , what's the problem? What are you worried about? ;D
