Goal.com Christian Vieri Thanks Atalanta Christian Vieri Thanks Atalanta ‘Bobo’ has thanked the Bergamaschi for rescinding his contract, and Italian media claim that he is ready to move abroad. 2 Apr 2009 11: Yesterday, former Italy international Christian Vieri agreed the mutual rescission of his contract with Atalanta, but he does not seem keen to hang up his boots just yet. The 35-year-old controversially re-joined the Orobici last summer, despite the fact that the majority of their supporters labelled him a ‘traitor’ for turning his back on the club in 2007 to join Fiorentina. He was repeatedly jeered last Saturday during a friendly match with Bellinzona and that seemed to be the last straw, as he decided to terminate his contract three months early. “I want to thank Atalanta for their correctness towards me during this season and during my previous spells with the Nerazzurri,” read a statement from the ex-Inter ace. And several Italian sources speculate this morning that ‘Bobone’ is now carefully weighing up offers from English, American and Arab clubs. Personally, I like 35 year old Italians, but my kids told me to stay away, hm hm , Anyway Reality. Tommassini wasnt bad and this is a striker. Furs is 40 something and scoring. But this goes into the vast rumour bin of fictional football defacto false factoids. Even tho rubbish brigade at least not a midfielder and he gets booed a lot so he could fit in niceley.

Others disagree re Tommassini and Ledesma and Parejo
But if not, who's trying to bring Vieri to QPR
Does Sousa want him?

More 35 year old Italians !!! how old are they going to be when we are in the European Cup after the great 4 year plan ( my maths was never much good ).
Glad to see we are sticking to Flavs formula - foreign crap and old has beens. Wonder why nobody thought of it before.
