Press spokesperson....
Liam Miller to join Dundalk FC in extraordinary loan move
Republic of Ireland midfielder and ex-Sunderland player Liam Miller could soon be lining out for Dundalk FC in a extraordinary loan move. With Dundalk FC's Mickey Collins still not cleared to play for the Lilywhites, it has left Dundalk FC boss Sean Connor well short of options for the centre of the park.
Miller, currently at Championship side Queens Park Rangers, is set to leave tADVERTISEMENThe club as the club under-go a massive shake up, which is starting with the sacking or demotion of current manager Paolo Sousa.
However, what is even better for Dundalk is that Miller will not add extra cost to Sean Connor's budget as QPR joint-owner Flavio Briatore will continue to pay Miller's wage bill until the end of the season.
Dundalk FC have not been available for any comment, but a QPR press officer, Ms Aprile Fulday said: "Liam could be on his way home to Ireland. A representative of QPR got in touch with Dundalk FC and the deal is likely to be ironed out by the end of the week. "Mr Briatore has big plans at the moment and Liam could still play a part of them next season, but not at the moment."
