There's this question posed on WATRB. And personally I don't see how that can be answered in the abstract.
Will Paladini be still be signing the players? How much Money will Briatore et al be allocating for transfers How much pressure will Briatore be putting on Sousa How will our injuries be
And finally I don't think any of us know precisely because Sousa is not a known managerial quality. And is not a known Championship Manager quality Something Briatore et al deliberately decided on in their appointment
So if I was QPR's owner, I'd stick with Sousa. But that doesn't mean I'm that confident about promotion.

These days, or so it seems, everyone wants to know in advance.
Isn't the purpose of the matches to find out? If we could work out the answer beforehand, there wouldn't be any point in playing. the point of having all these matches is that nobody has any idea.
That's what makes it interesting.
But like 'trying to win', that's rather old-fashioned now. Teams don't try, because 'trying' implies that they might fail. Instead, they're urged to 'believe' they're going to win.
As if that makes any difference.
I suspect this has a lot to do with 'investment'. A successful team which makes money rather than losing it has money to invest in developing the squad, money which it has earned through its own talent and success.
So it deserves the money, and is well placed to exploit it, having knowledge of success at first hand, something most Clubs don't have.
Most Clubs aren't successful, and most of them don't make money. The only way they can balance the books and make a profit, however modest, is to do what businesses do, and cut wages.
Even if it merely underlines their incompetence. But they prefer to cover that up, compounding their failure, their losses, and their lack of know-how, by borrowing money they can't repay and spending it on keeping wages artificially high, even though the resulting losses and soaring debt inflicts long term damage on the Club's footballing and financial prospects for decades to come.
Like QPR.

Todays Mirror seem to have knowledge that he wont be here next season. Also a sporting director hinted at.
