I thought we were elegant, kept the ball on the ground, kept possession, we played proper football, we didn't smash anyone in the face, short passes it was a team that did not panic.

Furlin is no where near a Prem player, more Blue Square Premiership. Faurlin on the other hand impressed me today, not so much defensively but he was very good with his passes. He will make it in the Prem.

Agree with posters, disagree about Faurlein. He was badly shaken up but made some very nice passes and moves. Remember he has no experience playing in Prem and we had no challenging pre season matches which was nutz. Anyway, how no one can call Tommy Smith the man of the match is beyond me. He had good plays both ways, bareley missed wide, and made an enormous goal on a one time pivot and touch. Ecstasy for me. Also Wins the match.

I really felt at times today that they were playing like a Prem side. Some nice moves put together and keeping the ball on the ground more than they have in the past. There will be times when playing 'keep ball' will be important.
