25 Yrs Ago: QPR Back in "Division II"

QPR played their first game after their relegation, under new Chairman Chris Wright.[/b]

A crowd of just under 15,000 saw newly-relegated QPR started (what was thought would be) their instant return to the Premiership with a 2-1 home win against newly-promoted Oxford. Oxford took the lead before Gallen equalized and Dichio got the winner.

i still remeber being realy upset aswell as kevin gallen was due to go to united for 3 mill i think

he then broke his leg the week after at portsmouth and things didnt go great from there
