Lee and Our Benevolent despot got into a bizarre situation, where Donut told manager du jour to play only Cerny.
CPR knows the whole story, also the Despot was upst that he lety in the one goal v Chelsea in the Cup. Off with his head)
He wasnt with us that long, but saved our skin when Gregory came in and borrowed him, then net year he was a huge buy that he insisted on before he was summarily kicked out to replaced by the aforementioned manager du jour, or was it the Italian DeSousa who was homesick.

Didn't Dave Seaman concede 5 at Southampton on his debut for QPR? That said he wasn't a bad keeper at all for us and must rate highly on QPR's all time great list. Let's put it this way his next club was Arsenal and depite his gaffes there (Real Zaragoza anybody?) they haven't come close to repalcing him since he retired. So he must have been good.
Since I have been an Rs fan the all time no. 1 keeper must be Phil Parkes, but having said that my all time favourite keeper has to be Peter Hucker.
Fans talk about how lucky we were in the FA Cup replay (which I agree) but the truth is there shouldn't have been a replay in the first place. How Spurs didn't put 5 or 6 past us in the first game is all due to a certain Mr Hucker in goal - and he produced a couple of good saves in the repaly as well. Watch those 2 games and see a great keeper at work.
Underrated keepers? Jan Stejskal was a decent keeper and I think deserves a lot fo credit, Lee Camp did not deserve some of the criticism that he picked up from some fans and don't forget a certain Chris Woods (Norwich, Rangers & England) also had a spell at Rangers.

What I never understood is how Peter Hucker went downhill so quickly. Was it because VEnables was such a great coach and without him....

Since I was born it would probably be Kenny.

Mac I think that was the beauty of El Tel - the ability to get the ebst out of any player. I know in an interview PH had a lot to say about Clown Prince Mullery but he felt his career took a turn for the worse when Jim Smith took over and went with Baul Barron (remember him?) as 1st team keeper.
Maybe Hucker's career was in decline by then and maybe he was one of those keepers who peaked too early but I think JS made a huge mistake there. PB was a decent enough keeper but hardly a great one.
