A year ago Cole, was the hottest transfer in football but he endured a nightmare first season on Merseyside. Cole, over-rated and a sick note. if he really really wants regular first team football, drop the ego and drop your wages demands. frankly, worth only 10k max per week or pay as you play - 5-10k per game.

I reckon Joe Cole would do well at Rangers and would fit in better at a smaller club like us. Who cares about the cash they've got to spend all that season ticket loot on something. The way he used to play for England reminded me of Trevor Sinclair who served us well the last time we were in the Premiership.

This one does seem to have legs, thought it was dead until a lot of papers, including broadsheets, and sauces have resurrected it over the last few days. Think it would be a great signing, would make sense for him and us.

The only other highlights I can think of are that goal for England vs Sweden (I'm pretty sure everyone can remember that) and the amazing backheel goal he scored at Old Trafford for the W*nkers down the road. |
