Discuss!
(That's the exam question....Answers can be as short as a single sentence. But should be no more than 750 words and can examine both the pros and cons.]

Or are they divisive. Leading to feuds between Fellow QPR supporters
Or maybe they bring together fans from around the world?
Do they actually exert any impact on the club?
Or do they exert any indirect impact ever by having the press read them, write stories...cause an impact?
What do the club and players feel about boards? Do they really care at all?

1. we have some disagreements, but havent noticed divisiveness
2yes it does bring fans together. Many read the sites but never write or post.
3.Yes, I know sousa read my "start Taarabt next time" because thats what he did.
4. The tabloid press writers cant read-joke joke wink wink, they dream up fantastic stories.
5If they were smart they would read them. We know former players read Report.

Just to note: I was not referring specifically to this board - or to any one other boards; but to the QPR boards in general.

Of course. Gives me something to do when I'm waiting for one of my wife's deliveries from her internet shopping to arrive!

Mind you, your wife probably tells her mates she only orders stuff online to get you off the message boards.

I think it's a good thing and take you away from other things.
Problem is some people only post to wind others up and not for the real reason, supporting QPR and finding out information about whats going on.

I'm all for messageboards -
they give us all a chance to air our views & feelings with people who really do understand (even if they dont necessarily agree!)
Discussion & argument is healthy - it's just that it can become frustrating & even offensive when some people get personal or are WUMs in it only for their own self-gratification
But I'm all for it - I should be, writing on VitalQPR as I do ;-)

Wind up merchants. First coined on the 606 boards.

I thank you squire should have known really or worked it out but it's early. That's my excuse anyway. Not much cop with all these abbreviations (TLA's), tend to use words.
