With 'only' 300 mill and 100 of that going to buy the club (if that is the true figure), I don't see him spending a lot of his personal fortune on new players although I guess he would probably be more inclined to go into the realms of 6 mill or so than the other lot are. Be nice if he gave NW full control over all transfer matters too.

Well at least you din't call him a cat eating or dog eating Malaysian, which is what I've been called at stinking WATRB's, Oi, Denmark, he's Indian Malaysian, not good enough for you, mate? Secret Agenda? How much money will he make from 18,000 QPR, genius?

You people act like YOU want to choose the people that will buy QPR from Bernie and Flavio, it's not enough those two will get lost, no...you want a guy that is sooo much better, that is good enough for YOU! My question is, you wanted Flav and Bernie out, now you're bitching about the guy that might take over?

Sorry, lost it there, a bit, very ticked off at WATRB's , I hope Fernandes buys the club, that would be hilarious. Honestly, anyone is better than Flav, I don't really hate Bernie, cause he wasn't the guy sacking managers, as for why he wants QPR, simple, W. Ham are in the championship, he wanted to buy them when they were in the Premiership, so now QPR shows up, and Tony has a chance for revenge, over Gold and Sullivan, not so much the club, which I am sure he still loves. It's owner vs owner.

waterbuffalo, I,m with you mate. I really don,t think that money is going to be a problem with Fernandes. As well as owning Air-Asia, he now has Tune Hotels, which are operated the same as Formula1 Hotels. Tune Hotels are also The Official Partner of The Barclays Asia Trophy 2011. Look, if arabs and russians and americans are dying to buy a premiership club or a championship club, it should be no surprise if Fernandes wants QPR, loyal fan base, good history, 60's 70's 80's 90's loyal fanbase, people respect that, and they respect the little club that is not a giant like Sunderland or Newcastle or Leeds, which could sink you , maybe Rangers are just the right size for him. Who knows?

That said, I prefer the 'funny guy' Fernandez over some 'cold blooded' Russian. Playing fantasy football here, aren't we?... I actually like that he's not a tycoon or oligarch...just a simple 'entrepreneur' (another trendy word) who likes sport. I flew once with Air Asia. Nice airlines. So you have my permission.

By the way, know how much was Tony prepared to pay for West Ham? Not sure, but you notice the language from Bernie and Flavio was exactly the same? "Derisory", i mean West Ham okay, worth more, but it's kinda below the belt, why not say 'too low'? why insult the Indians? Rather mean, methinks.

i think its rubbish to shut up/wind up the fans dont think they want us near on first game of the season probably worried about the stick they are going to get.
The guy has that much money then he is shrewd paying the kind of money they are asking for a small club is neither shrew nor clever lets face it there aint no money in it unless he is not going to pay nothing out once he has bought. If it were true it is not going to make a difference to our spending power whatsoever.
That unfortunately is a fact who in their right mind would spend money to then continue year in and year out make a huge loss. At the current gates we can expect from now onwards average 16-18.000 every other week even if they charged 45 quid per head it averages 810.000 - 850.000 per fortnight i am not sure what we recieve for away matches if anything but if we say with sales ,purchases etc we average it out to about 450.000 per week i am not going to go through it all now whoever reads it can have a go but what with paying off loans , staff , ant rents, council tax etc and then player wages and manager wages and too many other things to mention that is why they made such a huge loss the year before last cannot remember exactly how much but in the region of 15 million pounds who the hell in there right mind would buy any business and yes it is a business who would buy a business making losses of anywhere near that each year.

Do you think that arab billionaire supported Man Citeh as a boy? or Abramovich supported Chelsea as a boy, or the Glazers supported Man U? I could go on ad infinitum. These guys buy Prem clubs because the Prem is a world wide phenomenon. Africa, Asia, Europe all follow the Prem league. It's value for money, esp since English clubs have done very well in the Champions league over the past half dozen years. When did Ajax make the semis last?

my only issue would be if he starts taking out more loans, which i can see happening. portsmouth much? totally agree, Gibraltar, we don't want an owner that will put us in debt, but I don't know if Fernandes will or won't use loans, tbh. But I know one thing, he sees qpr as a good investment, a club that will not spiral out of control like Leeds , Newcastle or West ham (8th highest payroll in the Prem) It's a fact that the majorrity of clubs are in debt mainly because of astronomical wages, and guys like the Man City owner and Abramovich cover that debt themselves, they don't mind losing money. Strange way to run a business, I'd rather be like Arsenal. Don't over spend. Create and sell.
