See I give credit where it's due (And I should definitely check people's spelling!) From Pete/WATRB: QblockPete: "...without a shadow of a doubt, Paladini got Tarabadt from Spurs. " IsleworthRanger It seems Tarabadt will be with us next season as well QblockPete: "Your right, I followed the papers view on this one. Contrary to those reports looks like a very good chance of a season long loan next season." www.wearetherangersboys.com/forum/showthread.php?t=2586&page=2

I don't recall. And I'm assuming Pete's not trying to be clever by later saying the deal was finalized by Paladini. Because every deal ultimately is probably signed by Paladini. The question is who found this player. Pete says Paladini. I'm sure we'll find out.

Trabant was the old E, Germany communist peoples car and rated one of the 50 worst cars of all time, (what about the 50 worst goals of all time)

I have scoured the internet and spurs blogsites. There is a leaning toward Sousa wanting Taarabt, this would be in opposition to the WATRB Paladini "signing', but not finding.

Without knowing, I'd have thought this was someone Sousa wanted. But if it's not: THen on the one hand kudos to Gianni for getting him; but negative on the club if this was someone Sousa actively did not want (And given that he's playing him, that wouldnt seem to be the case).
As JFK said: "Victory has a thousand fathers, but defeat is an orphan." - Same concept with succesful signings!

Spurs would have to be bonkers to loan him out for a full year. Taarabt wouldnt go for it either. He has that accurate skilled goal-hunger. Only if flav would give him a 5 yr 60 million. He could be the franchise. The place would fill up just to see him play.

london - I don't want to pour water on your cornflakes but the highlights don't show the amount of times Taarabt lost us possesion cheaply by trying a flash trick every time. Whilst the majority came off against Swansea, 60% didn't against Brizzle. He is not the answer to our problems. We desperately need a striker, Vine back to his best and Buz on the pitch. If Traarabt joins us on a season long loan, that would be fantastic. He would provide competition for Cook, can play down the middle and wants the ball. If he is just here to give us a last minute play-off push, then thanks for that, though I would prefer our youngsters to have a shout rather than a player from another team getting playing time off us because he can't get into his first team. Spurs are bonkers though, they paid 16m for Darren Bent, so there is every chance!

He called you an epert not an expert. In our local tappas bar earlier this evening and was categorically told that Taarabt would be joining us on a season long loan. Apparently Redknapp has three quality youngsters that he believes are the future but they will not get a look in next season. Trabant being one. This guy apparently knows his stuff, he is from Madeira, owns the bar and believe it or not, Max Clifford told me to believe him. strange evening indeed, no, I was not dreaming.

London - that was a self-ironic dig at my-self and certainly not a comment on your post. Sorry for the misunderstanding.
CPR - I know. My ego interperated it for me!

CPR Is there a clue in the word TAPAS. Is this a discreet way of revealing the next manager will be Spanish. Or a glutton ( for punishment ). Or Max Clifford ? I'm even more confused than before.
Anyway I'm begining to envy your lifestyle - ( only have lobsters twice a week ).

i think souse will stay on. All of this is a tale told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing. Life is a bad play, tis but an illusion, a mere shadow cast by a "brief candle," MacBeth. If William Shakespeare were alive today , undoubtedly he would gravitate toward QPR. Tragedy, comedy, history, all there for the writing.

The most impressive thing about Taarabt was his ability not so much to skill his way past players as to bulldoze through them, so that if they almost tackle him, he half-tackles it back and carries on his run. In other words he has strength and is not lightweight and completely reliant on his skill.
Very wasteful at times though, but a 19/20 year old with that talent needs coaching, and hopefully won't be frightened into never trying anything.
