;D Chelsea accused of 'very unpleasant and anti-social sporting behaviour' Northampton Chronicle - : 12 March 2009 Juventus defender Olof Mellberg has accused Chelsea of "very unpleasant and anti-social sporting behaviour" following their Champions League clash on Tuesday. Chelsea drew 2-2 in Turin to go through 3-2 on aggregate after central defender Giorgio Chiellini was sent off for a second bookable offence. "Chelsea tried to influence the referee's decisions throughout the game," Mellberg told Viasat TV. "Six or seven of their players would surround him, it really was a personal attack. I reckon that this was a very unpleasant and anti-sporting beahaviour. "Chiellini's foul was fair, he tried to get the ball and there was no malice in there. He didn't deserve to be sent off. "We accept this result but, as I said, I did not like the way Chelsea players behaved." www.northamptonchron.co.uk/football/Chelsea-accused-of-39very-unpleasant.5066818.jp
