utter madness, suggests that bernie etc see it as a cash cow whereas bhatia/mittal as a club looking after fan's interests

Crazy, crazy stuff.....
Best season a vast majority of our fans can remember.
No parade, p***ed all over us with the ST's and now this.
Would live to see anyone try to big up the board now.....
(Perhaps Bernie was afraid that we might rival his favourite club.....)

If this is true then good on Bhatia, he has shown that he has integrity. Bloody nightmare though, we needed Bhatia and Mittal on board to counter the madness/stupidity of BErnie/Briatore.

The sad thing is if the Donut and the Dwarf don't want to sell then there is nothing Mittal can do.
They are milking us for a fortune, so why should they even consider selling.
What a F***ing day...........

As far as making any statement towards how the club is being run that is the biggest statement that Amit could have made.
Though not good news in any way, respect to Amit and Sakseena for having such a difference of opinion to how the club should be run and how the tickets should be priced that they are in total opposition to Bernie and Flabio and also for having the temerity to fight their corner to the point where it cost one his job and the other his vice-chairmanship.
The gap between the club and it's fans just got a lot wider.

The soap opera is back! We're a laughing stock again! Pff! Seeing that QPR is just a business horrifies me! it's like learning that Santa doesn't exist and that it was Flavio in disguise! Anyway, what should have been the best season in years...

I could see this happening ... why would mittal be played like a fool by this shower and Paladini stirring things up?
They were blackmailing him on price to control which was so transparent by bernies comments, and could be worse to come as Amit shielded neil from the nonsense, you where im going with this! Adel aswell if this lot are only after money.
Saving us from ruin Great but turning us into a laughing stock and generall disliked by all fans , ruining all the hard work of last year, unforgiveable!!!
The wrong lot are staying ... get them out as soon as poss as wont be pretty in next few months.

"It is with a heavy heart that I tender my resignation as vice chairman of Queen’s Park Rangers Football Club. It has been the greatest honour to have served this club as an owner and board member for the past three years. Although there have been challenges, the last 15 months have been a period of stability and success and it gives me immense pleasure to see QPR back in the Premier League where I feel the club belongs.
However, it is clear to me from recent board meetings that my vision, strategy and direction for the club is very different from that of the other shareholders and board members. The recent decisions to sack club CEO and Chairman Ishan Saksena and significantly increase season ticket prices are just two of the decisions I disagree with. While it saddens me to leave QPR after such a successful season and at the beginning of an exciting new phase, I do not wish to be associated with or take responsibility for decisions made by the board and with which I disagree so strongly.
The Mittal family had been in discussions concerning the possible acquisition of the club. However we have been unable to reach agreement on this matter and therefore those discussions have now come to an end. Although no longer a decision-maker at QPR, I shall continue to be a 33% owner and a 100% fan of the club.
In due course, we will appoint a board representative to monitor my family’s investment in the club. I shall look forward to supporting the club as a fan next season and would like to thank Neil Warnock for his leadership and friendship over the past 14 months. It has been my pleasure to work with him and be part of the club’s recent success and wish the club every success in the premiership. Amit Bhatia

I for one am not convinced this is the end of the Mittals involvment. This is just the start of a power strugglewhich may run on and on. It will however be QPR the club who suffer the most as it's unlikely we will make any signings with this happening in the background. Does all sound like lessons have not been learned from last season!!!

Yep it's Mittal saying ta ta for now. Bernie and Flavio will try and sell the club for as much as possible during the season. Hopefully no one will buy us and Mittal then does a deal at a lower price. I don't think Mittal would sell his shares now as Bernie is known for getting a good price on his deals. So either the club gets sold during the next year and Mittal makes a great return on his 33% or eventually Mittal buys the club at a much lower price than |Bernie/Flavio will be trying to sell it for. So Mittal financially will be fine. For us lot though, "the 20 pound fans" this is terrible.
