In a stunning reversal of rules the F.A. announced that not scoring goals will decide the winner. Buoyed by the experience of QPR the position of striker and goalkeeper will be eliminated. Games will be decided on a points system of judges like olympic judging.
Categories will be style, cleanliness of uniform, most original swearing at referee and most importantly skill of missing goals from close range. A gaping open goal and the skills in kicking ball into grandstand or taking shot and falling on face will be judged on skill. The finest skill will be hitting the goal post and not scoring. actually scoring will be considered a red card and uncouth. All categories will be judged from 1-10. best scors in game from judges will give three points. Draws will have a penalty missing playoff.
The immediate application of new rules would put QPR firmly in first place if current form persists.
When approached by the press Flavio Briatore expressed his pleasure. "I never liked the British style of play he said. this will move us rapidly to top of premiership.

Sounds like the new enviromentaly friendly football. Not scoring goals = no need for goalposts thereby saving the tropical rainforests. QPR really are ahead of their times.
