No, Vic has been around so long he probably was there to see it happening! Vic is a legend for QPR history, I'd love to be in a pub with you guys. The histroy spoken would make for a brilliant read or listen.

The facts of the disappearing apostrophe are all on this thread.
The Queen's Park district also used to have one.
It's a funny old game saint, a funny old game.

Indeed.
It's Queen's Park. We are Queen's Park Rangers...and we are Premier League!

Ooooh! Nothing is impossible but I'd like to suggest that the typos are just as likely to have originated amongst the plethora of journals and records from which you obtain your information.

Who put the apostrophe in ST JUDE? It isn't on the original photo, presumably issued by or on behalf of the Church reproduced on your thread and yet your own text inserts it.

You've confused me now Vic, easilly done, I know.
"ST JUDE?"

It is, of course meant to be St Judes which is printed on the photograph.(No apostrophe)
Just a silly oversight/mistake.
Just like the one in the article below the photograph which refers to Mr Bott permitting Queen's Park Ranger (S missing) to use the facilities and credits St Judes with an apostrophe in the article underneath the very original photograph which does NOT include an apostrophe!

Now I am really confused. There is only one St Jude, therefore it must be either St Jude Institute or St Jude's Institute, would it not? St Judes implies loads of them!

Amazing. Fascinating. Remarkable. I'll stick with Queen's Park, because a Queen I ain't even if you all are, hahahahaha!! I'd like to accept this award on behalf of the Queen's Park Rangers Supporters Club of Malaysia (Original) Estb. 1973. The new 'official club' are a bunch of imposters who used to be Chelsea fans. Don't worry, I will eliminate them with extreme prejudice. That is all.
